Fool me twice. Shame on me. Took bike in for a regular service. Quoted at $360 roughly. Asked for them to put a fuel pump in and a battery in. They didn't do the fuel pump just the battery. **** worked magically up to over $700. I was ticked they didn't do the work I asked for. But was also ticked at the price. They nickel and dimed me on spark plugs, o-rings fob battery etc. When I first called I asked if everything was covered. They said yes. I asked specifically if they clean the air filter etc... The *** said yes. So now I've got to take the bike somewhere else to get the fuel pump put in. I brought it in early because the fuel pump quit, and it killed the weak battery trying to turn it over. Hit the tank a few times and the pump came back on but the battery was still dead. So charged up the battery and took it right in. Now I've got to find somewhere else. I had a service credit on file from the last time I took the bike in there and they didn't do it properly. The service credit from the owner said free service next time I was in. The service department said the email did say that. But that the owner only meant a free oil change. I pointed to the sign in the service bay that said "Service, more than an oil change" you couldn't make this up. They said they wouldn't honor the email from the owner. To which I said you're only as good as your word and the product you stand behind. They even charged me $60 in labor to test a battery I just asked them to replace and install the new battery. It really does seem they just do whatever they want. They don't listen to you at all. I'd recommend never going here for service. Literally I'd recommend Ottawa Goodtime before going here. I'll never be back. This is the second bad experience here out of two service experiences. It used to be good a few years ago. But now they don't even stand behind their word. You're going to get a surprise bill, you're not going to get what you ask for. .
