On 21 Nov. 2024 I agreed to a contract to have Ready Roofing & Renovations replace the second floor roof on my house. I provided a down payment of $3,750.00 to the business Manager of the Ready Roofing and Renos (***************************) located at ***************************************************************************************************************I was advised at that time that they would try and get the roof done last fall, weather permitting. They texted me on 23 Jan. 2025 and advised me to let them know if any issues arose (i.e. leaks, missing shingles) before they could get here to replace the roof, they would come and fix the problems. The also stated due to the delays they "scheduled the install on the top of our boards for the spring" . I have tried to access their website, which is no longer online and also called them and I was sent to voicemail. My message has not been returned. I believe this franchise of Ready **** and Renos has closed and I have not been notified and more importantly, refunded my down payment.

Good morning. I would like to retract and cancel my complaint with Ready Roofing and Renos. There was a misunderstanding and as it has been cleared up, I no longer have an issue with this company and I will be moving forward with the job I have hired them to perform. Please make sure this company does not incur any penalties or poor grades from your organization. Thanks and O appreciate your quick response and action on my initial complaint submission.

All dates are 2024 Down payment made Tuesday April 2nd $2,624.55 Roof project started on Wednesday April ***** payment made Tuesday April 23rd for grand total of $5,244.55 This contract for for a full roof replacement with 10 years workmanship warranty plus manufacturer warranty on top. On may 21st I noticed damage that looked like something fell off the roof and damage my railing. To his credit I didn't notice this damage until I got back from being out of town and he responded to my email and said he would look after it.On may 27th I came home to water leaking from my smoke alarm from the roof. Called ****** and he sent someone to fix the issue. No caulking was put on the vent portion.I have had no issues with leaks since but there was damage to the dry wall with water spots. ****** did come and look at the damage with me and we agreed to have it painted to cover the water marks. How it was left at the time was he was looking for a piece of vinyl to replace the railing and we needed to get the right paint color. We needed everything to dry before painting anyways. Time got away from me and I wanted to follow up with an update. On July 22nd I sent an email looking for an update on when these repairs would be done. Since that time I have sent emails, texts and tried calling numerous times with no response. This does not inspire confidence in the services I payed for and seems to be dodging this responsibility. If I was calling in reference to something that happened to my roof like another leak or shingles fell off what happens then? If I cant get a hold of the company then this seems like a breach of contract and this type of business cannot go on.
