    Our stay got off on the wrong foot, with a phone call from one of the stuff the morning before arrival. I unfortunately booked around midnight, not realizing the mixup of the dates. When we finally did check in on December 31 at 3 oclock. I provided the lady a front desk my name first and last she couldnt find a reservation so I had to give her the confirmation number. Before handing me the key, she had a rude remark this reservation was for yesterday not for today. I took the keys and proceeded to the room where I stayed the rest of my stay. Believing that it was a pet free hotel. I felt comfortable staying, knowing my allergies wouldnt be affected. Unfortunately, to my surprise, there was dogs in the hotel, and some very yuppie ones at that. My husband and daughter went down to the pool for a short amount of time where my husband got hit in the head with a ball by another guest. There was no pool towels available. For the nearly $500 price tag for one night of us actually being there the only amenity we got was the pool. The room itself 213 had an extremely draughty window when we woke up, there was condensation on the inside of the window. The baseboards and trim were filthy, and the heating unit was also filthy. Here are some photos showing how dirty the room actually was.We try to enjoy the free breakfast, but unfortunately only two out of four of us got it because of how bad it was. The stuff not only referred to my daughter time and time again as a boy ( *****,bud and gentlemen) they ordered over easy eggs and got slimy eggs with burnt sausage. After the way, the dining room stuff treated my daughter, we quickly packed up our stuff and handed in our keys to head home. Its highly unlikely, we will be staying at the hotel again, considering all these factors. We love visiting Perth yearly, but it looks like we will be staying at a different hotel on our next visit.
