      I am sad to add our name to the list of customers DGC has cheated and lied to.We contracted DGC to build ** a deck. We were promised a deck by April 2023. As of November 2023 we have a partially built deck and DGC has stopped returning communications. Quality of work was substandard and did not meet code. DGC pressured us for money at several stages of the project and would disappear for long stretches of time. We cancelled our contract with DGC and now have to pay to have our deck rebuilt to meet code.In case the other comments have not made it clear STAY AWAY FROM DONAGHY GENERAL CONTRACTORS.

      I would like to share my experience with a with this company.In January 2022 we hired this company to fully gut and renovate two major bathrooms in our house.My experience with the business owner was very disappointing. He continuously ignored when we spoke to him about issues suggestions or thoughts for designs and he was never on site. He would say we were behind in projects and said he ordered supplies for our bathrooms but they were never ordered. I called the store to find out.The deal was we would pay half and then the other half upon completion however every week because of his personal financial issues he continuously harassed us to pay weekly so that he could pay his employees.We asked him numerous times to let the guys know to be careful with both exterior doors going into our house as they were brand new from ******. We showed him the damages, dents and scratches all over our doors he kept saying yes he'll order and buy us new ones and never did this is since March 2022 on going.In in May 2022 he completed the last bathroom and I reached out to him the very next day to let him know that there is no caulking around the walls of the shower and it continues to leak. It still continues to leak as he keeps saying he's coming to fix it but will not honor his side of the bargain.I am very disgusted and embarrassed to have put all my trust into this company.Do your investigation when you are going to hire someone.
