      Simplii Financial has an excellent website BUT their customer service is extremely inadequate for the the the average person who needs to change any banking needs. I have had the unpleasant opportunity to speak with three customer service???? representatives (CS?R) of Simplii Financial. The first one passed the buck and said someone would call me back. And I did receive a call the following day, the CSR spoke so fast I had to request the person to slow down, which he did for 10 seconds and then went right back to his car salesman like speed/pitch, I became very frustrated and ended the call. A short time later another CSR calls me and was unable to communiacte my concerns as english was not his first language, which in most cases it has never been a barrier and I ended this call. I attempted to call back and was advised by the computer cal centre there was an hour wait to speak with a CS?R. A word of caution to anyone that requires customer service that this is NOT the financial institution to sign on to. I am in the process of moving my accounts back to original bank.(Thankfully I never closed)

      I transferred a large amount of money into the Simplii High Interest Savings Account special 2.75% offer from April to June 30, 2022. An agent assured me I was enrolled and the bonus was activated. In July I was told I would have to wait until the end of July. Not what I expected and annoying. At the end of July still no interest and when I phoned I was told I would not get the interest offered because I had not read the terms of agreement. Unacceptable! I argued that the agent had not explained that I was not eligible for the total interest when I phoned in. The frustration and time I spent trying to contact and resolve this problem with Simplii has led me to a decision to never invest in Simplii's product bonus offers ever again.
