      *** **** **** ***** ** * ****** **** ******* ** * ***** I ordered sparkling wine and chocolate dipped strawberries as congratulations to a coworker engagement. The order was made on Wednesday and I asked to be delivered on Sunday since there'd be no one home until then. Even though they ask for a delivery date, the delivery will be according to the chosen shipment but this is not clear information. I chose the free option and thought it was weird as they didn't confirm the delivery date. I sent an email to customer service asking if it was going to be delivered on Sunday. They answered my email but didn't answer my question. After insisting, they said that the shipping I chose didn't deliver on weekends or holidays (this was written nowhere). After some emails they said that my order would be shipped on Friday. I asked if I could cancel the order, no answer. Asked if there was something we could do to be delivered on Sunday paying the shipping difference, no answer. I also tried the phone with no success. Someone answered the message that I left on the live chat that my order would be delivered on the requested date. The next day (today) I tracked the order and the status was "in transit". I called the shipping company and asked to change the delivery address to my address, but I don't even know if they will make it. I order gifts and flowers online all the time at work and I've never seen anything like this company. We can't schedule a delivery even though they ask you for a delivery date, there's no customer service and you can't cancel an order. But they only show you good reviews on their website and the website shows on the top of your search. * **** * *** **** ***** ******* ** ****** ****** *********

      We ship all throughout North America.  Naturally, delivery times will vary depending on an order’s destination, which is why customers are always granted an opportunity to choose the shipping method that best meets their needs so their orders can arrive on time.

      When customers are placing an online order, once they enter their shipping address they are provided with several different shipping methods that indicate the minimum length of time required for an order to be delivered.  As is the case with most online retailers, the shipping method determines the transit time, otherwise known as the minimum length of time required for an order to be delivered once the item has been dispatched.

      Customers may also opt for expedited shipping at an additional cost (express, overnight, next-day, priority) should they require an order to arrive faster than the minimum timeframe offered by ground shipping.

      This information is shared with all customers before they finalize their order by completing payment, and is also included on each order confirmation/receipt.

      I ordered a snack food gift basket to be delivered to my son's hotel upon his arrival for his BAR exam through Bostonbaskets.us which is under The Gift Group umbrella. The site explicitly states that baskets can be delivered within Boston same day or next day and can be ordered 24/7. I read every FAQ and delivery information provided on the site.
      During my order the words 'delivery date' were always used and the only option available for the hotel's address was next day delivery. I placed my order on Saturday for a Monday delivery date. I had to change the delivery date from Sunday to Monday so I figured this would work out well. Nope, I received an email confirmation once I paid that stated 'shipping information' with the basket being shipped on Monday for next business day delivery.
      I contacted customer service asap. They were condescending, stating that I chose next day shipping and then proceeded to lecture me on what 'business days' means. I explained over and over that the site never asked me to chose shipping that the wording was misleading. I had hoped that they could contact the warehouse in Boston and get it out Monday by the afternoon ~ exactly what their site says they do.
      Turns out they no longer have a warehouse in Boston and therefore no one gets anything but next business day delivery. I know that because I finally reached someone within The Gift Group via ******** who explained it to me.
      The website is deceptive and the customer service is horrendous!
      My son will likely never get this basket and not once was there any concern about getting it right from their customer service. If I had researched, I would have never ordered anything from them, ** ** *** *** ***** **** ***** **** ******* ** ******

      Horrible customer service. Fine print gets them off the hook. No warning that perishables should not be ordered unless it's one day deliver. They DON'T USE REFRIGERATED SHIPPING??Absolutely the worst company i've ever dealt with.

      ** *** ***** **** **** ******** The basket was supposed to arrive with in 2 business days, did not arrive to 5 business days and the fruit was rotten. This was for a business associate and they notified me the day after they received it. Hazelton refused to refund me anything unless I submitted pictures. When I explained that the basket was thrown away because of the rotten fruit and I was not going to ask a business associate to dig through the trash, they did not care.       I received a lovely gift basket for Mother’s Day and the card stated the basket came from Gifting Kosher. I later learned that this company is a devision of The Gift Group. We opened the basket and I recognized one product- the jam - which I knew was not kosher. I then checked all the items in the basket and only one had a kosher certification. I cannot understand how a company that calls itself Gifting Kosher can send non kosher products.
      I contacted them and after some back and forth the money was refunded. I tried to engage them in a discussion about deceptive advertising but there was no response.

      Ordered flowers for my grandmother for Mother’s Day who lives in Brampton (I am from Hamilton). The flowers were already wilted and drooping when delivered. I have been dealing with their customer service since may 14th. I relied on their service to deliver fresh flowers to a loved one and instead paid for wilted flowers. I am not “entitled” to a refund as they need proof of picture. I tried to explain to them that my grandmother lives in a different city than me does not have a cell phone and can not take and send me a picture. Valerie, their customer service manager *** ********* **** *** told me I should have considered my grandmothers abilities before ordering her flowers based on their refund policy. I explained to Valerie, than many other people had the same experience relates to dying flowers over the Mother’s Day weekend and she told me I should of considered these reviews prior to ordering as well as should of considered their policy before ordering. Why would I review their refund policy prior to purchasing as I am relaying on their company and service to provide fresh flowers. ******* *** *** ****** * ***** **** *** ********* **** *** one of the worst customer service I ever experienced.

      We purchased a gift basket from Hazelton's (parent company is The Gift Group). It arrived with the wooden box broken & multiple items substituted for inferior products. We emailed back & forth with two different customer service representatives, and left 4 voicemails trying to speak to someone in person (they never called back despite the message that said they would respond within 2 hours). Customer service is dreadfully unhelpful, only quoting their policy that allows them to substitute out of stock items for other products. They refuse to respond directly when confronted with the fact that their substitution policy only allows substitutions of equal or greater value.
      I was originally promised a refund on the broken wooden box but that promise was reneged on as they unilaterally decided to ship a (empty) replacement against my wishes.
