      Terrible customer service. I very seldom look at a statement online now that we have gone paperless. We have often moved or changed phones, or other information. I wanted to look at this months statement. Nope can't remember the password etc.. Waiting time for Customer service 2hrs. and 14 minutes. I finally get a woman that can hardly speak English. I tell her right off the bat that I have not been online for years and have no idea what my password is. First question after I get her to repeat it several times. When was the last time you were on your online account, duh?? Really I just told you I have not been on for years and can't give you a date. She asked me several more times demanding an answer. Problem is she doesn't understand the meaning of the question she is asking. Okay who do you share your account with an easy one. I share the account with my husband **** *******. She repeats the question even though there is only myself and my husband on the account. She asks me how I get my statements, answer online. I guess she figures I should look more than once every 3-4 yrs.. I've had enough and ask to speak to someone that speaks better English. So much for my wait she cuts me off. Now I have an over 2 hr wait to complain about sitting for that long for nothing. I still do not have my password or access to my account. I would not need to sit on the line if their system was easy to understand online. It won't even help me online. I hate dealing with this thank god it is only every 3-4 yrs.. I know I will have to go down to the bank to straighten this all out. I hate trying to get into that bank but here I'm sitting for probably 5 hrs. to get nowhere. Not sure why I need another password to just talk to someone on the phone?? The system is so bad and not customer friendly. My husband has access to the balance which he pays but has no idea how to get to a statement.

      I really needed to talk to a representative about a time sensitive issue. The message said there would be a two hour wait. Awesome. I decided to stick it out as it is important. After about 40 minutes, they just cut my call off. Literally hung up. I guess that is the newest way of not having to deal with customers. This is not the only issue I've had with them. Online banking is horrendous as well. They've sent business cheques to an old address after I sat with them and reviewed all my current info, including my current address, the list goes on and on. I am now fast tracking my way to never having to do business with them ever again. I'm not saying other banks are much better these days - most people don't love their bank, but this has gotten beyond infuriating.

      They made me go into a branch to activate my credit card. When I tried to add it to my ****** wallet, I have to call in, because why not waste more of your customer's time? Spoke to one rep, useless. Second rep, useless. Apparently they don't have people working on a Saturday that can activate your card. That is correct, it is a mandatory requirement that someone allow me to add my card to my ****** Wallet, BUT THEY DON'T WORK WEEKENDS. Of course when I asked for it to be escalated because it was already a waste of another 20 minutes and why do I need to call in for this nonsense, managers don't work weekends either. Worst bank ever. And this much effort to use a credit card? There are better options. None of my mortgages or investments are with BMO, and I'm about to cancel two credit cards ******* ** **** **********

      I want to give a special shout-out to Hugh (not sure how he spells it) He is CSR with the BMO Business Telephone Banking. He was absolutely fabulous the whole process, put a smile on my face, and made my day much better. Great job to Hugh with the Celtic accent from BMO! Five-star service

      We have tried two days in a row to phone for help about a charge that shouldn't be on my wife's BMO ********** and each day it has told us that we have to wait for 3 hours. This is ridiculous customer service. I hope MANAGMENT takes time read what poor service the customers are getting and bad reviews. R & R
