      BMO spent hundreds of thousands of dollars refurbishing West Street Corner Brook, NL site so the tellers could have nice scenery and comfy seats while making clients stand crowded together 20 deep in hot temps for over an hour for service. ************ *** *********. Put your dollars elsewhere everyone.

      This is a complaint against BMO. I’ve been making payments to my ********** **** through BMO for years, but my December payment never went through and I was charged an interest payment by **********. After reviewing my transaction history with BMO and confirming that I indeed made a payment to my ****** ****, I contacted BMO to investigate. Instead of making a payment to **********, they paid a **** **** account that has long been closed and no longer exists. As a bank institution, how could they make this mistake and not reimburse me for the interest payment I was charged by ********** for their own mistake? Now they’ve made me look bad with another bank and even though I’ve never missed a payment before, my record doesn’t show that anymore.

      Been trying to close my RRIF account. Had appointment saw *****************. Said everything is good. I should receive my money in 7 to 10 days. left several messages with no reply. Called customer service on hold for an hour to be told ***************** will call me right make.. Never did. Still no money been waiting over a month. Did as they asked and wrote to the bmo review and still no answers. I guess I have to try and go higher up the ladder

      Constantly locking the branch door at night which prevents me for getting any money out of the ATM
      ATMS are there..so you csn access yr. Money when the branch IS CLOSED!
      I think I will move my accounts ** ****** ********* * ***** ******** where access to the ATM is 24/ 7. I used to like BMO..but not anymore.

      I do not have a BMO account, but I do have a car loan with them. I tried to go over the counter and pay a small amount outside the regular payments that is being deducted from my chequing account ( not BMO). They said I cannot make payments aside from the amounts they deduct because I do not have an account, the lady at the counter even asked, from where I got the amount that i am paying for. Now I understand if the amount was probably the whole amount of the car loan, but a measly $800? She also said that I cannot make a payment because they need to get all my financial info. Why do you need it? It is so frustrating to deal with people that do not use their common sense. I guess, common sense is not common after all......

      My account was hacked in June 2023 for $5K by an e-transfer, a service I never have used and at that max. amount. After much terrible customer service and then since their investigation dept. blame the fraud on me (in the dark mostly thru this nightmare). An Alert after the fact is totally useless... They have no SMS/third party and their digital banking guarantee is a joke! ****** **** *** ******** ********* *** **** **** ****** ***** **** ** ****** **** I'm a customer of 60 years and treated like a nobody! ***** ******** ********** **

      I opened account but didnt get debit card.
      Two month later ,called and they said i need to go to branch and sign paperwork.
      I already use many transactions by on line. Why do i need to sign ?

      I’ve been with BMO since getting a debit card when I was like 12 years old since then I have never switched banks, but I’m really starting to regret doing so and will definitely be switching as soon as possible. The customer service reps are just awful and it takes nearly an hour most of the time to even reach one. When you call and try to explain your issues that you’re having they often talk over you or they’re just flat out ****. I was recently charged about $70 in interest fees when my amount to pay on my credit card is a little over $100. I tried explaining to the customer service rep that it didn’t make sense why I was charged that amount when I’ve been charged five dollars interest on any amount that I transfer from my credit card to my debit card and he said that this is because I haven’t paid my card in full for that month. I Explain to him that it doesn’t make sense how they can do that when they don’t even send out an email to let you know that a certain amount is due before they charge you interest. ***** ****

      I just tried to get a simple credit card. I have only used **** and just wanted to have a ********** because they don't take **** at Costco. Ordered one online. When I got it, I tried to activate it online, and it went to a message that told me to call the number instead. I was on hold for 40mins before someone told me to go to the branch instead. I went to the branch and they told me that I have to call the number again. I called the number again and I was told that I need to go back to the branch. Haha Are you kidding me? I have excellent credit and this is my first experience with BMO. I tried to cancel the credit card altogether and they told me I have to go to the branch to do that too. Wow - not recommended.

      ***** **** **** they stressing me out too much they always blocking my account for a purchasing online for 20$ i have too call them i have put a stop payment for 40$ and they still let the company get the money what the point too have a bank of they dont care about they customer ***** ******** **** ****
