      My recent experience with my RBC credit card agent was pathetic. Her name was Paramdeep, if I recollect it right. The time was around 9:30 pm on September 25. She wouldn’t let me know what information didn’t match nor would put me through to a supervisor. I’m a customer of 26 years and if this is kind of treatment I get, I don’t want to do business with ‘‘em and I’ll persuade other 40 families to join suit. Worst service ever

      **** *** ********** *** ******* I qualified and completed all my requirements on Aug 18th, 2023. The promotion conditions which clearly states (J) once requirements are complete you'll get an email within 10 business days.       Had $119 in account all day when I had a bill coming out for $115, checked balance to confirm just before depositing another $1250. After this I did a small load of groceries. The next morning I saw the bill had been reversed and I was charged a nsf fee. When speaking to a company representative I was told this is my fault as deposits after 6:00pm are not counted til the following day but debits from the account are counted before 11:00pm.

      It's not the agents fault.
      They have horrible training clearly.
      I have had lots and lots of credit products with a lot of financial institutions.
      RBC is hands down the worse.
      I have been trying to pay them money for over a month now and they won't take it.
      They take long payments out 5-10 days later when EVERY other payment I have on a day comes out on the day I am told or at most 1-2 days later.

      You also need a client card when you call in which I do not have (nor will I ever get) I just want my payment to go to them that's all I want is to give them my money and it proves impossible.
      They make up answers because they just don't know.

      * ** ******** ** **** ** ****** I have been calling to dispute a charge on my bill. Till now I have spent about 8 hours on the phone waiting to be connected and having to hang up because I have to do other things after waiting for 3 hours. I am not sure what the expectation is , that people have time to just wait till somebody in some other country attends. The first time I was told to "not worry about it because the charge will not appear on my statement" - which it did. So ...................

      RBC amazing service/understanding of situation, listening, sympathy, and most important correcting/updating/etc of info needed to correct situation.
      I would not deal with any other bank..client for over 16 years
      keep up the great work.

      Had a refund issued to a cancelled credit card and cannot get a hold of ANYBODY to find out where my money is. I hold for hours and then it hangs up on me. I finally get a hold of someone but its 'not their department' so they transfer me and I hold for hours and get hung up on. Virtual assistant is a joke as is their customer service. Customer for 30 years and am looking to change banks due to their lack of service lately. ***** ** *****

      5 years ago I received and etransfer of $2,000 from a perspective employer. RBC freezes my account, then subsequently indicated that I defrauded RBC of the funds that were e transferred.
      Went to police about it, explained and they told me that as far as they knew, once money is e trans RBC have received monies..
      I have been banking with RBC for 50 years...and this is what I get...*** *********** looking for more than $7,000...disgusting!

      I believe the "Royals" would be embarrassed if they would look more deeply into the practice of this Bank. Long story short:
      My mother has been incapacitated since more then 10 years,: Nursing Home and wheelchair. She had severe dementia. I have been taking care of her finances for long time. I was never aware that her and my late father had a Line of Credit account . However when she passed away this year in April I have been made aware of such an account with $5000 debt. This debt has occurred in year 2021,-22 where my Mom was not even aware who she was or didn't get out of the nursing facility in years. The Bank Manager assured me ,that it will be written off and still they took whatever was on her account. and continue to take money out of her account as some money was still deposited to her account after her passing.
      I filed a Police Report with Hamilton Police.
      Someone was taking money out this account. The Bank insist it was her or me. It was a crime against a Senior Citizen. And the Bank is just doing it again. The Manger of the branch promised on June the 7th that ," they will write it off" ( I have a prove of it) .However today I have been told there is no "write off" and her will testament of my Mother says "all debts will be paid" …even if she didn't make them??????? **** *** ****** *** **** ** **** ******* *** ***** *despite her being dead for over 2 months.
      The bank manger is being **** *** threatening ..talking about lawyer costs. Maybe but, my parents never had debt, my mother didn't know about this account and neither did I ?
      I never received a Bank Statement for this account.. So where did it go? Who was taking care of inactive accounts? Who and when had access credit card to it?
      Surprisingly the "case manager" doesn't work any more in this branch... The Manger is not keeping his word....My mother was 89...an honest hard working women ..a Nurse.
