      There is more to this story than meets the eye. During my visit to the Royal Bank on October 11, 2022, I opened a business account. The assistant who helped me do this was very helpful and gladly assisted me. The first thing I did after getting home was being the account setup, which went smoothly. However, when I put in a client money check, the program threw me out and asked me to re-enter my password. This was done three times, and on the first attempt they said that my account had been blocked, and I should contact 1888, which I did. I was not able to unlock the account by the phone, I have to come at the bank the next day. After I explained the situation to the same consultant, he kindly agreed to assist me. After 10 minutes, she told me they were fine, and I could use my account. When I tried to enter the pin code on the first attempt, I was informed that the account had been blocked, call 1888...
      The consultant on the phone said she was powerless, so I had to go back to the bank. The third time I came, everyone recognized me, ******** * **** ** ** ** ***** ** ******** * *******. It didn't take long for everyone to know me , understand what was wrong, and within three minutes an entire scientific council gathered close to this counter. There was a desperate consultant from this scientific convention who assured me that this was the last time and everything was going smoothly. When she offered to log into my account from their computer, I logged in and everything worked. As soon as I got home, what you think ? You are right I called them again, I was on the line for 2 hours, and then we couldn't help you, we didn't even have access to your account, someone blocked from your branch. It was the fifth time I was treated as a VIP. Nicole F., the queen of the bank branch, was the queen that wiped out all my knowledge of peoples.       Rbc manipulated their ****** giveaway and went from confirming that I met all requirements to now saying I didn’t.
      Be very careful with their giveaways, they avoid teaching their staff the right processes which caused me to go into the branch at 6 times with different information almost every time.

      Contact center is a joke. Nobody helps.
      Fraud unit puts calls on hold forever..you just keep waiting.
      No result after spending an hr. They will keep transferring your call till you give up

      It seems there is no client care at the Royal Bank. My Mom, an elder, had some fraudulent charges on her RBC **** - impossible to get a live person even for that situation!! After going through the regular line, who told me to call the security line, and after some chat and choices the mechanized voice said my wait would be more than an hour do I want a call back. So I chose that.
      I received a call SEVERAL hours later after leaving my Mom's place but answered it, it was the same mechanized voice with the same opening, ending in my wait would be more than an hour!!
      My Mom is 90 and feels anxious and has no way of talking to a human who can remove these charges and I won't be able to go back there this week.
      I cannot believe a bank with such profit and their **** card folk do not answer a telephone.

      I've been having issues with my online banking since last week. I called several times and no one has helped me fix my problems. I spent one hour on the phone each time I called and the issue was not solved in the end.

      In March 2022, I ordered from an online merchant. Due to backorders and delays, the shipment did not process until much later. I then closed my credit card with RBC on July 4, 2022. I received written confirmation from them two weeks later confirming the closure. In August 2022, I received notice by mail from RBC stating that I owe the merchant the initial money, plus I now owe money to RBC for interest as the payment was over a month late. I cannot owe money on a **** card that RBC confirmed was closed - and the transaction posted to it two days later! RBC refused to cancel and refund the payment. They did cancel the interest though. ******** * ****** ******* **** **** *** ***** ** ********** ********

      I'm hoping that if not all, most RBC clients will be able to read my review. This is a complaint re Kelly R., investment advisor at RBC DS Vancouver. Kelly has been my advisor for over 10 yrs now and for this last 5 years, I did not in a million years, would think of her collecting and passing my personal information to this ********* ***** group that's been ********* me for 5 years now. I found out that she was doing this only this spring because I had given her very specific information on two separate occasions that only she would know and no one else. This information was used by this ***** group to learn what my next steps to get them apprehended. I had spoken to the managing partner at her office and explained to him that Kelly is now a security risk to the company ** **** ***** ********* *** **** ********* **** ********* ** ******* ******. After I withdrew all my investments, I was told they couldn't find any evidence. I requested a video conference with her but they refused. I requested a copy of their investigation, no reply. Kelly R. was selling my personal information to this ***** ***** group and I wasn't even given a chance to confront her. *** ** * **** ********* ****** *** *** ** ***** *** **** *** ***. *** ***** ***** ******** ** **** ***** *** *********** ***** ********* *** ******* *** **** **** *** ****** ** ********* ** ****. I know RBC is a very big company to go against with. Even though I don't have much, I can still sleep every night with a clean conscience.       Well, today I had an appointment at Saddle Town, Calgary, Ab, RBC branch at 10. a.m. Last week I had to wait in line for 20 minutes then the guy said I need an appointment, and when I went there at 10 there was no one from your side. Anyways, your officer Kavin attended me but throughout the meeting he was showing strange gestures as I and my wife were burden on him. And when the meeting was over he held his head and showed to his lady colleague that we caused headache to him. You can see his gestures in camera. I really felt embarrassed in front of my family, *** *** **** ** ** ************** ******* ** *** ** *** ****** ** *** *****. Please enquire yourself and let me know why we were treated like this before I go to any legal action. I'm really frustrated. And note please that I'm a customer of RBC since 2018.

      I am so disappointed in the service provided by RBC bank in Ontario. I am exhausted. 2 months I have been fighting to get my debit card. I brought money to the bank and I did not get back any service. I cannot even use the client support service, because my card number does not exist. What is going on? I wasted too much time at this bank. Now I am going to leave you, because the service is terrible. Manager was not able to help and support me, BUT she is a good listener as per requirement.
