Hello ******** We're disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with our services. Our interest rates are very competitive in the market for our unique position as a middle ground lender. We are not a traditional bank, so our rates are higher than those institutions. While traditional banks serve customers with Excellent credit scores and high qualifications, we cater to customers with credit scores in the Fair to Good range, with lower qualifications. Borrowers with lower credit scores represent higher risk and interest rates increase as this risk increases. With our rates ranging from *****% to *****% we're able to serve a wide range of customers who would otherwise maybe not have access to funds at competitive rates. Of course that doesn't mean our services will work for everyone and we understand if we're not a good fit for you.As far as payment schedules are concerned, when a payment is missed you will incur additional interest charges as well as potential penalty fees. Your branch team will follow up when a payment is late to make sure everything is okay, to inform you of any charges, and to help facilitate your payment to avoid further costs.Review fromPaul J H

Hello ******. The details of your financing agreement are outlined in your contract. Without knowing more specifics, it sounds like you opted in to a Same As Cash plan. For this plan, interest charges will accrue on the purchase from the beginning of the promotional period, but no payments will be due during the promotional period. If you pay the purchase price in full by the expiration date of the promotional period, all the accrued interest charges will be waived, and no finance charges will be assessed on the purchase. If you do not pay the purchase price in full by the expiration date of the promotional period, all the accrued finance charges will be assessed to your account. Your monthly statement would have noted the expiration date as shown here: ************************************************************************ We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with **, but we absolutely do not aim to mislead or misrepresent our services in any way. Your feedback has been shared with a team working on improving our retail statement document to ensure details and deadlines are a clear as possible.Review fromDenis G

Hello *****. We apologize for the confusion and frustration the process caused for you. The 'guaranteed loan offer' you received is based upon previous/public information we can access without doing a credit check. It is also generated many weeks before you receive it; enough time for the qualifications you have to change. This is the key caveat to this offer. If your qualifications change during the time it takes to deliver the mail to you and you not longer meet our qualification standards, the offer may be voided. If your qualifications are stable, or improve, the offer is valid. If you'd like to be removed from our mailing list, please give us a call at ************.Review fromchristine B

Hello ********. We're sorry that we couldn't offer you a loan at this time and to hear that you were unhappy with your experience.Every application is subject to review against our qualification standards which include some factors you listed, like credit score, ability to pay (income), and payment history. But these are not the only factors to consider. Credit inquiries, credit usage and more also come into play and could be contributing factors that led to your application denial. We would be happy to share more context about your application decision if you are interested. Gaining more insight can be valuable to your continued search for a lending option. For more information, call your local branch and share the reference number you received via email with your Lending Specialist. With that they can locate your submission and share more insight. Please, if you can use other means for financing, stay away from this firm. I've paid in full the outstanding balance so I don't have to incur interest on their 12 month no payment plan on March 6th, way before the due date of March 15th. I was excited to open my email to see a zero statement but they were charging me for $700+ charge as I should have paid on the Plans expiration date of Feb 2023. I argued for and against that the voucher on the statement clearly stated pay this amount by March 15th. I requested for a callback and have called them several times as none of the supervisors were calling me. I called again today and spoke with this guy who claims he's the account manager and offered me a lesser amount of $531. What a joke these guys are! Beware of their misleading statements.Fairstone

Hello *******. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us; as it turns out, your input is very timely as we are currently looking to make updates to the retail statement to simplify the information presented. Your review has been provided to the team working on this project for reference. As you mention, the Plan Expiration Date (if it was the first plan expiring, or the only plan you had) is the date by which payment must be received in full. Per the terms of your agreement, failing to meet this payment date will result in your account incurring the accumulated interest for the full term.Review fromA. W.

Hello ******. We're very sorry for the unsatisfactory customer service you received. What you describe does not in any way meet our standards of care and we apologize for that. Your feedback has been shared with our management team for review so we can continue to improve our services. Our services are not predatory in nature. We provide an option that is competitive and reflects the cost and risks associated with serving the customers we serve. This does mean, of course, that our interest rates are higher than traditional banks. Our rates are also lower than those offered by payday lenders which often exceed 45%, where ours range from *****% to *****% on personal loans. Finally, we appreciate you sharing your feedback here and we're happy to report you can definitely leave us your feedback through a formal complain process which is outlined here: *****************************************************************************************************************A. Thank you so much for the reply! It was shocking TBH because of the customer service I had received from the individual already mentioned.I had figured no one would see my complaint as I have heard nothing from said individual .I would have thought she had not heard of the complaint, were it not for her mentioning it in yet another snarky, snippy email. Some people just dont get it.I will look elsewhere for any financing options in the future, should the need arise. And to be perfectly transparent, it was a necessary option at that time, and the product, though competitive in rates for similar products, was minimized and off putting by the interactions with such a callous, ***** and unhelpful employee. You would do well to stem any future loses by retraining this individual.. or better yet, move her to a position that is not public facing for any number of reasons.
