    A telemarketer called and indicated that a rebate from the government was available and all I needed to do was meet with a consultant to have my home assessed and then I would receive money. I specifically asked if I needed to spend money before getting the rebate and I was told know. I agreed to an appointment to have the assessment.
    When the rep from Energy Experts arrived, he was wearing a jacket branded with "Energy Experts" but did not have any identification - not even a business card.
    I asked if I needed to spend money to receive the referenced rebate. I was told that no rebates were available unless I spent money with them.
    I asked him to leave and he did.

    I am trying to get in touch with Energy Experts to pay off my bill.I have tried on several occasions and no one answers there phones. ** **** * * *** *** *** **** ***** ******* ******** *******

    ****** ******* ** * ******** ****. The sold me a furnace and a water less hot water tank for 17k. The "expert" promised that I would get a $5000 rebates in "4 to 6" months. Well that never happened. Trying to get in touch with them was impossible. So I called the outfit that installed the equipment. They are called ***** ********. I called them to see if I could get a number for Energy Experts from them seeing that they are "partners". To make a long story short ***** ******** and Energy Experts are related companies. ***** ******** told me no rebate was ever promised to me! They were not willing to provide me any contact numbers for Energy Experts and that would offer me any assistance. **** **** **** **** ** ***** ******* **********

    Energy Experts were supposed to send an inspector for an assessment of my worn out furnace on July 1, 2022. The assessment is for a rebate of $5000.00 on my $16,000.00 Heat pump system I am planning on purchasing. THEY DID NOT SHOWED UP!! They called back several times apologizing for that. Each time they did I told them I was working with another rebate plan.
    I finally decided to give them a second chance. They were supposed to come on September 7, 2022. We waited all day. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP!! Mary called the next day being very apologetic and said they will come on September 10, 2022. Once again we wait a half hour after the promised time slot and I phoned Mary. She said she will call back with an update. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK!! We waited the rest of the day and you guessed it, THEY DID NOT SHOW UP!! I do not think they are a legal company.
