    In March of 2022 we contracted KADA Excavation to install 75 feet of armour stone retaining wall which included 2 layers of 4ft height material and a set of stone stairs. KADA DID NOT FINISH THE WALL. During the excavation of the wall the KADA crew severed our well water line resulting in our water pump to run dry. This incident occurred despite the fact Kevin was provide with detailed illustrations of where the line was located. While the KADA crew repaired the line our pump was irreparably damaged resulting in us having to replace it with a new one at considerable cost ($1,200). In April 2022 Kevin D (owner KADA) requested that we pay him in full for the job with an understanding that he would complete the east corner of the wall with two 4 ton stones which is the equivalent of 5 feet. Kevin said he would come back in a month and place two rocks temporarily to ensure there would not be any erosion runoff and then would come back in September 2022 to complete the corner. Kevin did not come back with the rocks or complete the work in September as he committed to. During this time we also discovered, after a storm, that the KADA
    crew buried piles of rip rap under our beach and the neighbours beach resulting in piles of sharp rocks exposed on the surface. We followed up with Kevin again after he failed to deliver his promise to show up in September and he said he would now complete the work in October and clean up the exposed rocks. Unfortunately Kevin did not show up in October to finish the job and is now, not returning our calls. Overall the wall looks great , just unfinished leaving the corner exposed and unsafe with water run off and erosion.
    Our expectation is that Kevin would make good on his promise to complete the work as he was paid in full. If this can’t be accomplished then we expect to be compensated $10,000 (cost of material, wall and pump) so we can pay another contractor to finish the wall and cover our pump cost. Thank you
