    We purchased a home sauna kit through ******** ********** at Home Saunas.com. What we expected to be a straightforward process has been a headache and we have yet to build out our sauna. We were given little guidance from the professionals who know their trade and should, at a minimum, ask clarifying questions to ensure that a customer has the correct material and dimensions, and avoid mishaps.
    Our initial submittal for a quote was placed on December 3, 2024 with the measurements of our space (a 7x8 foot closet that we are converting to a sauna.) ******** followed up on the quote and a phone conversation ensued, during which the scope of the project was explained. In order to save costs, ******** suggested a 5x7 foot sauna kit. The way this change was explained or the way it was understood, was that the layout would be reconfigured. Regardless, we ultimately signed off on a 5x7 kit, which ******** has adamantly put on us, as the purchasers.
    Additionally, our ceilings are 96" and my husband is 6'2, so the 75" door (which actually measures 74 1/2") that we received is shorter than he is. We reached out to ******** to explain our dilemma and ask about options for a door replacement. Her response was that the door options are listed online and provided no solutions. ******** did not explain during the conversation of door styles, the various sizes available to us. I overlooked the dimensions online. Hence, we have material that is too small for our space and now, we are forced to come up with a solution to make the lumber and dimensions work. The HomeSaunas.com website clearly states "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEED" and includes a return policy. We were not given any solutions to our problem, not even the option to pay more in exchange for a larger kit to accommodate our space.
