I bought 3 items for catering November 15th. Yet to receive my products. I contacted the company they answered twice, saying the product is on the way. They have stopped responding. The total of the invoice was 400$.Initial Complaint

On May 29, 2022 I ordered a **** ******* from Cookstore.ca, order #182993 at a cost of $420.88 tax included. When the order went unfulfilled for a month or so, I contacted them via email at [email protected]. Customer service rep Chloe replied that it was expected in a month. Did not arrive. Contacted them monthly, received a similar response each time. Then since November 2022, they no longer respond to my emails. I have also called the help line countless times, never an answer. I have placed an order with Coostore.ca on Nov 13, 2022. The products were suppose to be shipped within the next 2 weeks. My credit card was charged, but until now the goods have not been shipped. I have contacted the seller several times. Had responses at the beginning that the products are not in the warehouse, but will be received shortly and will be shipped. I have been in touch since then several times by email, but no responses received. Asked to cancel my order and give a refund, no response received. I placed an order on December 2nd, 2022. I received confirmation email stating that the order was confirmed and I would receive an email when order had shipped. Credit card was charged in full (149.99 CAD) on December 3rd. I have tried calling numerous times, but the automated system does not allow me to speak with a human, and instructs me to send an email to the address provided. I have emailed numerous times, asking at first for updates, and in subsequent emails for a refund. I have not received a response to any of my emails. I want a refund and I want to make people aware that they should not do business with this company.
I ordered items that were listed as "in stock & ready to ship" on 11/16/22. Website claimed, and still does claim, "7-14 day shipping*" but never actually follows up on the "*" with additional information. Should have avoided this place based on that alone.
I haven't received a single update for my order.
All items I purchased are now listed as "sold out" so they've clearly been selling backordered items as if they were in stock.
I've tried to contact them multiple times and haven't gotten a response. They don't have a phone queue for existing orders but they do have one for new customers which is an absolute joke considering there's practically nothing left in stock to buy on their website anyways. I sat in that call queue for over half an hour with no response just hoping to speak with anyone at the company.
Beginning to think this is some kind of exit scam. Considering contacting my bank over this blatant fraud.Initial Complaint

Aug17,/22 ordered a ******* New Gen Toaster #****** for $281.39 and talked to their rep because the black one was cheaper than all the other colors. I asked her why the price difference and wondered if the color I wanted was cheaper because it was different. She said the difference was because they had so many. As of today I still have not received the toaster. In my emails they say it is supply issues. Never said why when there was an abundance of stock in Aug that I was unable to get a toaster. I placed another order on Nov 24/22 #******. The first issue on that order was a pizza knife. My spouse bought one already for xmas. Next day I cancelled it and was told my card would be credited. The item was taken off but my Dec credit card bill was not credited.. She charged my account with the original total of $289.93. However with the pizza knife taken off the order it should have been 232.19. I also ordered a timer an Escali Digital for 14.15 before taxes. It too was charged to my account but backordered. I have made several inquires on the toaster. Prior to mid Dec they always responded. I had also contacted the Canadian ******* distributor. They were not having any issues getting toasters, but were unsure where the Cook Store was getting their toasters from. In mid Dec I sent another email with the question as to why when the Canadian ******* distributor was not having a supply issue, I was still not getting a toaster from them. On another email, after getting my credit card bill I pointed out that my card was not credited for the cancelled knife. No response to these emails. I still have not received the digital timer. I have called their 800 number and after you wait a good half hour they say they are experiencing technical difficulties. I have called their president, no response. I have also asked for them to call me on their website, no response. Today I started just picking items off of their site and everything says sold out.Initial Complaint

We ordered a product on Nov 2, 2022 ORDER ******. Received email on Nov 15, 2022 stating item currently out of stock and once it arrives in their warehouse a shipping confirmation will be sent. Since that date we have had no response to any email or phone calls. Our credit card was charged the full amount.

I placed order #****** on November 28, 2022 for 4 ********** - Red 3.25" ***** ******* ******** Blade Paring Knife - *****1.
Then, on the same day, I decided to change my order to 4 ********** - Red 4" ***** Classic Serrated Blade Paring Knife - ******.
A message box popped up on the site, and someone helped me switch this order and sent me a link to pay the additional $8.00 difference between the two orders, which I paid using ****** both times. The original order was $42.90, then the additional $8.00 difference brought the order total up to $50.90. This order has never been fulfilled, I've never been given any status updates or tracking information. I've never been able to reach anyone by phone, there is only a repeating recording which never gives you an option to speak to a representative. Neither have I ever received any feedback when I emailed the contact email address on Dec. 20th, and 21st, 2022 at [email protected], or when I emailed the help email address on Dec. 27th, 2022 at [email protected].
