      In the second week of July 2024 I dropped my vehicle off to Chaz on 5th Ave for repair to my rear bumper. Upon picking up my finished vehicle I noticed my check engine light was now on. I called Chaz asap and they said a sensor may have just become loosened and that it should be an easy fix. I was scheduled to swing by for a quick fix within a few days. After hanging up I took my car to oreilys for a scan. The scan came back that the ambient temp sensor in the front bumper was malfunctioning. I brought this information to Chaz and when they looked at my car they found substantial damage to the front bumper. This was not present when I dropped my car off. I asked for the pre and post scans that Chaz did before and after working on my car. They showed that the check engine light was not on and no problem with the sensor in the front bumper was present before they worked on it. The post scan showed that upon completion, the check engine light was on and the sensor was malfunctioning. Chaz said that I must have damaged the vehicle somehow and tried to give me a quote to fix it. I said no and took my car to my regular mechanic and the body shop that my mechanic recommended. Both looked at the damage and the scan reports and agree that the damage happened while at ****. Ive reached out to Chaz multiple times and have been ignored. I work in the service industry and understand mistakes happen. I just want them to make this right.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Hello Jourdyn thank you for responding. My ambient air sensor was working perfectly fine before I dropped my vehicle off to Chaz. Upon picking it up it no longer works. Both my regular mechanic (Big Os) and their recommended body shop (Street Custom TNT Bodyworks) looked at the damage to and around the sensor and agree that it would not have been working prior to drop with the damage it had upon pick up. Regarding the responses I had waited for I emailed Chaz Limited Collision Express and **** ****** hoping to resolve this issue and did not receive any replies. Hoping we can get this resolved asap.

      On 07/22/2022 we, my family and I, arrived at the repair facility to get our vehicle back after an accident. When we arrived we noticed that the windshield had not been replaced even though it showed clear evidence from the vehicle accident. We mentioned this to the repair facility in which they then contacted who they needed to get a replacement windshield, that could not be installed until 07/25/2022. Until then we had payed the deductible to the facility of $500 and left with our vehicle. Up to the day of the windshield repair we found other problems with the vehicle that had also been overlooked. The driver side visor was clearly bent in and for some reason our ** was not working. For an all black interior and exterior vehicle the ** is a big deal to us since we have a child under 2 and my wife is currently pregnant. We brought these additional issues up with the repair shop on the morning of 07/25/2022, since our appointment for replacement was not until that afternoon. They took a look at these issues and did determine that they were part of the accident and in need of repair. All these issues culminate into a bigger problem. When questioned about these issues that we kept finding, as of this writing we have found another issue, the manager we spoke with stated that these things got missed. However, the paperwork given to us by the shop at the payment of the deductible and the final bill payed by insurance shows that they still charged for services to insurance that they hadn't completed and some are missing entirely. As of 07/29/2022 we we were supposed to have some issues fixed, but that has not happened. We got our deductible returned to us, but the manager has alluded that we have to return it. However, I feel that since the facility did not meet the contractual obligation of returning it to pre-crash conditions and has at this point committed some insurance fraud, they should not see a dime more of our families money.
