      I contacted Juneau Limo to take my family around to attractions while we were on a cruise, with a stop at the port in Juneau. My communication was with ***, via email. We used the limo service on Tuesday, July 25 from 10:00 - 1:00. *** was our driver. Via email, I received a price quote and a credit card authorization form, I completed the credit card authorization form and returned via email. I received a confirmation of the time and pickup location. My credit card was charged $945, not the $677 I signed off on via the credit card authorization form. When I contacted the business to ask why, I was told it was because it was a city tour. In none of my communication did I request the city tour (I set the itinerary) nor was I told I would be charged the higher price. I responded and asked for a refund of the difference since this was not clear and I did not receive a response.

      Hello BBB,

       

      I have contacted the client and we have issued a credit for the difference for the tour rate to the holders card.I have explained to her that we have hourly rates for local stops but we charge the tour rate for the tour destinations for the tourist stops like the ********** Glacier ,Salmon Hatchery's and any other area that has entrance fees for visiting. I notified our office staff not to share our hourly local rates for tourist as this is confusing at times. The customer and I have reached an agreement. A credit was issued to her credit card for the difference between our hourly rate and tour rate. She did agree to cover our actual entrance fees we incurred for the tour stops she went to in addition to our hourly rate as we incur entrance fee charges when we drive folks to these destinations.
