My car began leaking coolant so I called Jenskis and made appointment to have it inspected. They couldnt get me in until September 9. So when I took it in on September 9 they told me my radiator is leaking coolant and they wont be able to repair it until 21 September. Well my car didnt make it until September 21. My car overheated on the **** Highway on September 14. I had to have it towed that day due to it was undrivable. Ive rode with a tow truck driver, So when we got there I went in and explained to the person at the front desk, which has since retired , that my car broke down and I have an appointment on the 21st its going to be outside. I explained for them to call me when they find out what is going on. So on 22 September I still havent heard from anybody, so I called over to Jenskis and ask them how my car is coming along. But they said that they havent gotten to the car. on 23 September Jenskis called me and said my radiator is fixed but my engine is blown. My response to that was why did you fix the radiator if I have a blown engine.Jenskis owner said to my mom That I could sign over the title and my debt would be wiped clean. What a scam. The car is worth $10,000. I would be out the car and money. This place is a scam why Would you fix some thing if you thought the engine was blown. Just tell me let me know whats going on. The owner then told me thats what I wanted fixed is fixed. I am not a mechanic you are my paid mechanic and I shouldnt have to pay for something that you shouldnt have fixed.

On first visit the customer brought his car in and told our service writer the car had a coolant leak. We gave him a quote to replace the radiator. At that time he declined the repair because his friend had just replaced that radiator and he wanted to check if it was under warranty. We instructed the customer that driving the vehicle with a coolant leak is not recommended due to the possibility of engine damage. He called us at a later date to schedule an appointment. The vehicle came to our lot on a tow truck before the scheduled appointment. The technician performed the quoted radiator repair per customer appointment. However it was noted that there was little to no coolant in the system.

Unfortunately, you can not determine engine condition unless you fix the leak first. After the leak was fixed, we ran the vehicle up to temperature for over a half hour before any signs of over heating occurred. At that point we had to relay to the customer that he had damaged his engine.

His mother than came in to talk with us. She stated that her son had said he would have junked the vehicle if he would have known that the engine was bad. At that point, we gave them the option to buy the vehicle for the cost of the repair and we would discard the vehicle for them.
