My name is ******* ******, im writing regarding my credit card ending in (7386) this card was closed with out proper notice, Regions bank sent a notice to the incorrect address of (*************************************) This is NOT my address. When i opened my account it was opened with my current address of **************************************. This address is also on my Drivers License and I have attached my utility bill. I have been a great customer and with your company ; closing my credit card without proper notice has HIGHLY AFFECTED MY CREDIT SCORE, DROPPING MY CREDIT SCORE 100 POINTS. I am requesting that Regions Bank reopen my credit card ending in (7386) and update my mailing address to *************************************. I understand that mistakes happen but this has been a very COSTLY MISTAKE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.Business Response

I had a direct deposit credit to my account on 1/1 for $162 I also had a ******* bank charge of $37 which there was more than enough money to cover but I was still charged a *** fee when I called the agent was not helpful after I explained the money was there *** sent a Zelle on 1/1 that would never have gone threw if there was no money in my account. The issue is the bank was closed & they did not update until 1/2 which is not my fault this fee is not valid the money was in my account they clearly put the direct deposit in I couldn't have. I spoke to a supervisor named Ladaricaa that didn't care regardless she didn't look into anything & made me repeat the same thing I told the agent I was also charged another $36 for peloton when I have overdraft turned off so if the money is not in my account its suppose to reject not pay out & charge me a fee. This has been frustrating ***'m to the point I want to just leave Regions I want the fees refunded asap.Business Response

I opened an account with ********************** over the phone on 8/15/2024 and funded the account remotely with $50. A week later, my account was automatically closed (without warning or a way for me to withdraw my funds first). I called their customer service who redirected me to the branch, who said my account was closed due to needing additional address verification (they should have asked for this BEFORE opening my account) and that a check would be mailed to me. A bit over a month later I realized the check did not arrive. I had temporarily relocated by that point and asked the branch via phone if they could send a new check to my new address. They said I had to come into a branch to do that, but there are no branches in my new state. Eventually they agreed to send a new check out to my initial address. After another month it still did not arrive (my sister was getting the mail), and so I called again. After a long call they said they found that the check was lost in the mail, and they would submit a stop payment request to reissue it. After another month I still got nothing. The branch called corporate and found out the second and third checks didn't even get sent out, and that I needed to submit a form for a new check to be issued. The form had a lot of fields I wouldn't be able to fill out and so I again asked the branch. They eventually called corporate and said that form won't work and that I would need to call the general customer service number, have them mail me a form, and then I would mail it back. I called them and they said my into is no longer showing up and that I would have to work with the branch. I am being misled and redirected over and over again with no end in sight. In all, Regions Bank has been holding onto my money for several months after they abruptly closed my account, and has caused me to waste several hours on the phone with them trying to get it back. I have also filed a **** complaint which they have showed no urgency in responding to.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The response had no helpful information, as it just mentioned a letter was sent. Given the generic nature of the response, I am expecting a generic letter that doesn't help me get my money back. Additionally, I am no longer at the address they have on file for me since I have temporarily relocated (as mentioned in my original complaint). I can provide the new address via some secure means (I am not sure if these messages get posted publicly). In any case, my sister is still checking the mail at the old place and as of today did not see anything.
Sincerely,
****Business Response

The response from the business was just "we consider the matter closed". This is incredibly insulting, and they should face consequences for treating customers like this. They have yet to provide any information as to how they attempted to resolve my issue, and they have made no efforts to obtain my new address to return my money to.Initial Complaint

I had a loan through *********, without issue. Enterbank was taken over by Regions and I stopped receiving statements re:payment. In November I got a call that they had not received my payment (which I had made through online banking as I had for the last year). I checked with my bank and they stated that a check had been sent and provided confirmation. I spoke with Regions again and they indicated maybe they were behind bc of the Thanksgiving holiday. I followed up again and it still was not received regardless of my bank having tracking information showing receipt. The check was not cashed so I made an electronic payment over the phone to Regions. They subsequently ***orted this to the credit bureau dropping our credit score significantly (it was excellent and is now just good). I contacted them last Friday to speak with a manager due to their ***orting since they were fully aware with my bank details and the payment had been made. I was told a manager would call me back within 3 business days. I paid off the balance of the loan. No return call was received. I called again today and was told no manager was available but would be shortly and would call me back today. No call received. I called back 3 hours later and was told I would receive a return call on Monday. The *** told me they werent sure they could provide me with my records of my call history or recorded calls, which I requested to make a complaint.Business Response

Good evening:
Although the company told me that the error would be fixed with the credit bureau and apparently provided you with the same information and the account was paid off in full, they made ANOTHER negative report to our credit AFTER the account was paid off, dropping the credit score over 70 points again.Business Response

On December 17th 2024, several fraudulent charges were made on my Regions checking account totaling $164.06. I immediately locked my card when I noticed, and on the next business day I visited a local branch to report the fraud. I was told that I could not file a dispute until the charges were posted, and that I could do so by phone. During this time I was also hit with $72 of overdraft fees. I called as soon as the fraudulent charges posted, and reported. Regions responded with a letter I received today falsely claiming the charges were authorized, when they were not.Additionally, I have the phone number of the suspected fraudster. After I locked my card, they attempted to use it a few more times. I received an e-mail from Regions LockIt when they unsuccessfully attempted to use my card at a Domino's on December 18th near midnight. I immediately called the store and explained the situation to the manager, who told me the fraudster did not leave a name, but listed their number ************.Business Response

I had a fraudulent transaction in the amount of ****** and Regions will not allow customers to get provisional credit while investigating although its states on their website that its an option. I was told I have to wait up to 10 business days until its complete although other banks give credit back to their customers within 24 hours. I have been with Regions since 2009 and will be transferring my funds to another bank. The bank manager at the ********** ***** was very condescending.Business Response

I am a Regions customer. I reordered checks via the ********************************************* website. When I received my order, it was wrong. I was told to visit my local branch for a resolution. The local branch reordered and the new checks still have inaccurate information. I returned to this branch again for a resolution and to date, have not received a resolution or a simple call back after Ive left numerous calls and messages. I am only seeking to have my checks printed correctly and the fees be waived for such because none of this is any fault of mine as I have even been told such. A simple return phone call acknowledging receipt of my efforts to address this issue would be considered respectful.Business Response
