      We had a wood burning stove installed into our new home by this business during the spring of 2022 (the final invoice was dated June). We moved into our new home in mid July. When the weather turned cold we began using the wood stove. After a few weeks, I noticed ashy/tarry looking drips in the attic and isolated the flue as leaking. I called to have them come look at the problem. They only take voice messages or email and said they would respond within 24 hours. I left a message and followed up with an email and second message after 3 days. About a week later, I got a call and they scheduled an appointment. The day of the appointment I received a text the technician couldn't make it. I was not given a new time. I called the office and went thru the message/email process again and 2 weeks later I get a text that he is coming on a certain day. About 1.5 hours after the appointed time, I get a text that he can't make it, again. I asked for a new time and got no response. As of December, I decided to just find another company. The new company had to totally replace the flue and rebuild the chimney for over $4,000!! Southern Fireplaces should reimburse me at least half of that expense.

      I have not been contacted by the company and they have  done nothing to resolve the issue.
