      On 12/21/23 I went to American Family Care for a medical emergency. I gave them all of my insurances and was told they would bill them and cancel the bill. This has not happened. I keep getting a text message saying I owe ******. I have medical Insurance with 3 different providers that will cover the bill. I need assistance getting this resolved since I keep getting text messages for this bill after being told they would bill my ****************************

      On 1/12/24 I was in a car accident injuring my neck spine and back. I went to the emergency room and was treated there but later in the day I was still experiencing pain. On 1/13/24 I checked in online at AFC urgent care at 11:30 am, based on the wait time, it advised me to come in for my appointment at 3 PM. I also received a follow up text confirming this, the text message also said that I will receive a 20 minute reminder text when it was time to come in for my appointment. As I got dressed to go to my appointment at 3 oclock I got concerned as to why I did not get a text reminder so I checked on online only to find out that my initial arrival time at 3 PM has been pushed to 320, then 350, then four, then 430. I tried calling four times and left a message and no one got back to me. I got dressed and headed towards the urgent care as I arrived, The front desk notified me that their phones have been allegedly down all day and they were not getting any calls. They did not know why my time kept getting delayed. No one was in the waiting room and they told me they was leaving. This was the most unprofessional service Ive ever received from a healthcare provider. An organization that is intended to support citizens with urgent care was disorganized, irresponsible, and resulting me of having to find , another medical provider in a rush to attend to my severe pain.

      ***** does not give shots so they refuse to give me the medication I needed I paid 35 and insurance paid the rest

      I visited the urgent care and was charged $30 instead of $20. I called and emailed and was told I should be charged $30. I called my insurance who verified I should only pay $20 and they would call afc to resolve. I reached out for a good number to call and have heard nothing back.

      This comes as a complaint against Nurse Practioner ***************************. I visited AFC Parkway on 12/26/2023. I conveyed to ************** that I had came on Suday 12/24/2023 and was prescribed Tamiflu which my walgrees pharmacy was out I also conveyed to her that she could prescrine Orange Juice to me as long as she dont prescribe Benzonate or Ninjacof. I suggest that she starts to listen to her patients . I told her I had both at home and neither worked but instead of listening to my health complaint she sort of talked over me and prescribed just what I asked her not to then when I got upset about she's say and I quote you need to watch your tone . Of course my tone changed when *************** told me she's prescribing to me the very thing I asked her not to. Then she goes on to prescribe an inhaler after I plainly and clearly told her I just picked up my inhaler on Sunday then she says no.! It has to be this one . All in all this was the worse doctors visit I've ever had in life. My family and I have been coming to AFC for a many of years and have I been treated with such disrespect and dismissiveness. I never want her in my presence again.Her nurse called her to the side and voiced my complaint which I was greatly appreciative but it didn't change a thing she still prescribe what I constantly asked her not to so in closing I do hope we can settle th8s matter soon I've wasted 100 dollars and two trips to the doctors not achieving the desired outcome . Look forward to hearing from you soon .

      I visited American Family Care on 06/29/23 at location *********************. I was checked in and provided all of my personal information including my insurance from BSBC. After I met with the doctor he recommended I have test ran. He never mentioned any 3rd party test from outside AFC facility would be ran during my initial visit. I later received a bill for $409.05 from LabCorp and this business has shared that theyre unresponsible for test requested by doctors at AFC and this is normally the process when the facility doesnt have the in-house test or materials necessary to provide you any test results, which is now a out of pocket unauthorized charge by a licensed doctor. I notified AFC ************************** and have been getting the run around since reporting this disaster and now Ill be taking legal action if not resolved. Also, ****** from AFC ***************** Team, promised a call back on a recorded call to clear this up by Friday 12/22/2023 and I have yet to hear a response from her.

      I paid cash for my **-pay. I have ********** federal insurance. My credit card was charged $1.00 fee because the clerk said they needed a card on file. This **mpany over charging customers by $1 when they pay in cash under the premise that they **** a card on file. My ** pay was paid in full via cash and the **mpany without my authorization charged my ac**unt at two separate locations a $1 free. If there is a balance due on my ac**unt after my visit they will have to notify me on writing as I have not authorized them to pull funds from my credit card. This is a MONEY making scheme and should be reported to the insurance **mmissioner. It is not about thr $1 its about an illegal practice towards members who use a card.

      I came into this office and let the front desk know that I and my nephew may have gotten carbon monoxide poisoning and asked how much it would cost to get checked to see if I had it. She said $175. After getting checked, I was told at the very end that they do not do the blood test for carbon monoxide poisoning. So not getting the check up I needed, I was also told that they cannot refund the $175. Had I had known that they could not test me, I wouldn't went straight to the ** and not paid this charge. I am requesting a refund for services not provided.

      I went for a standard physical and TB test. AFC does not have their own physical form so I provided one from my employer. Everything was going smooth until I met ******************. It seems like he was trying to be a funny guy. He was definitely snarky. He came in the room, and he immediately asked me for my immunization records. Im in my 20s the last time Ive seen my immunization records is when I attended college. Typically no one ask for immunization records for a physical. The paper I provided did not ask for immunization records. When I informed ****************** I did not have my immunization records he had extremely quick thinking, and stated that I would have to do a blood test. Instantly it seemed like a money grab. So I packed my stuff and left because there is an urgent care down the street. I go to the front and I ask what the was the policy on immunization and she keeps reciting something back to me about insurance. I think she has pre-programmed arguments going through her head. When she finally answers me, she states that the provider is the one who makes decision on how to conduct the physical. I immediately asked for my hundred dollars back they charge me $35 because the TB test was administered. I do not feel safe to go back and get a TB test read. I dont know whether they would make getting the TB test read contingent on me getting unnecessary service. it doesnt seem like AFC has a policy that requires your immunization records for an employment physical. I would like the $35 for the TB test back as they did not make me feel safe and comfortable for me to come back for the reading

      I am very frustrated with this place I took my son in on a Sunday. When I signed him up I paid cash up front and they gave me a receipt but I did not hold on to it not knowing the big mess that will be. Beware people here steal your cash if you pay with cash. Now I am getting billed that I own them money and threatening to send to collection. First of all in order to get seen by a doctor you need to give them your insurance or pay cash or debit. I made the mistake to pay them in cash and now they are saying I need proof of it!!! Even though that clinic knows you pay or you file with insurance or the doctor does not see you!!! I am very frustrated because when I spoke to someone over the phone a few months back they said that they never saw my son on that Sunday!!! BASICALLY THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND THEY ERASED MY SONS INFO OF THE *** I TOOK HIM IN!!!
