  So I had a recall on my 2015 GMC can. A recall that makes the power steering go out whenever it feels like it wants to. I call and make an appointment to fix on Thursday @ 10 am. I get off work early Wednesday and say hey lets drop it off and ********* my spare vehicle. Get there tell them hey Im dropping off today and will pick up tomorrow, I have an appointment tomorrow at 10am. Will it be ready after I get off work? Service lady answers yes. She ask me to fill out paperwork and ask why is it here. I say I called and made appointment for the recall of losing my power steering and how it goes out randomly and almost makes you wreck. She checks the system sees where I do have an appointment and says yep got you right here. After I finish the paperwork 15 mins later and she had my keys. Sales lady says did you buy your truck here? I say no. She says well we cant work on it. And I say wait what? I called made an appointment no one said anything, made the appointment Im here you said you have the part, why the h*** not. Because you didnt buy the truck from us. Is Terry Thompson authorized to sell and service GMCs? Why yes. So those uplifting garbage ads are s*** in the radio. Just to let you know I went to Tameron down the road and traded it in and bought a new truck. You might wanna second guess your s*** service department.

  ****, We sincerely apologize for the way that this was handled. That is not the kind of experience that we want our guests to have. The service rep that made your appointment is new here and was not aware that we are not able to perform recall/warranty work on GM vehicles that are not purchased here. This is not a Terry Thompson rule, it is a GM rule. We do sell and perform recall and warranty work on Chevrolets. We do not sell new GMCs, therefore warranty work cannot be performed here unless we are the selling dealer of the pre-owned GMC. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience and the way this was communicated to you.

  The dealership cheats people out of money by telling them their car (in the service department), needs extra work that is uncalled for. A service rep even told me they do this all the time. Warning to others who are going to use the service department for car repairs and maintenance! This dealership is huge in this county and has commercials on all the time, but know that they will scam you when you take your car in for service.

  Tried to purchase a vehicle here, gave the dealership a $1,000 deposit for the vehicle and before we could complete our car deal the salesman informs me they have sold the vehicle I put a deposit on to someone else. Seems like a poor way to run a business.
