Bill discrepancy. Manager has not contact after several requests. Contract was actually through another local company who was doing foundation repair. Trying to put me on hook for 1000 more than what is on the contract. The person who caused discrepancy is revered on their website page as top sales person/technician wont call back the company who actually contracted the services. Horrible experience

Were very sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. In this case, our team was working under another contractor, and it appears there were some discrepancies in the scope of work and communication. Our manager will be reaching out to you directly to get this resolved as quickly as possible. At Higdon Service, we are committed to making things rightno matter what it takesand we appreciate the opportunity to do so.

I had a tech come over to give a repair estimate. It was ridiculously over-priced for the job. He quoted over $1400 to replace a gas valve and an unnecessary blower motor cap. The gas valve is a small part and a 15 minute job. I called around with my furnace model number and received three phone quotes from other companies which were $200-$500. It should be illegal to over-charge by so much. Furthermore, the tech started his estimate to me with a $5000 recommendation for an air purifier and other unnecessary items. His second option was over $2000 and the third option was $1400. This is outrageous. I just needed my heat to work. I refuse to pay the $99 service charge for this absurd estimate of $1400-$5000.

********. We are sorry that you did not find value in our services. Our records show that you called in a service call for a non functioning HVAC system. Our **************** representative confirmed our $99 diagnostic fee with you and you confirmed that you would be paying the diagnostic fee. ************** did a full inspection on your system not only finding a fault gas valve but found other issues with you system. We gave you an estimate to repair all problems and an estimate to repair just the problem that is an immediate issue. Replacing a gas valve safely and correctly is far from a ***** minute repair. This is a 2 to 3 hour job when done correctly. We apologize that you had less than a five star experience and we look forward to working with you in the future!

My family has used Higdon service for about 5 years now and have always had the best experience with many of their technicians. We recommend this company to everyone.

On July 12 2022 a Higdon Tech came out open the unit up, he told me any thing else he do, its a charge. Told told me that my unit was too old. He would suggest me to get another one. So I didnt understand what does $89 cover he didnt do anything just came out talked. He didnt check nothing. I will never call on Higdon Service they rip my 83 year mom off. Call on another company they say it wasnt nothing wrong with the unit. Higdon you need to do something with that tech he represents your company. He is lazy individual, rip off elderly lady on fixed income.

*****. We do appreciate you giving us the opportunity to keep your family comfortable. Our records indicate that the technician arrived at your home and diagnosed your system and informed you that it was low on R22 refrigerant. You were informed that the system was low and a leak search would have to be performed to know where the refrigerant leak was coming from. You then declined to pay for a leak search. We do apologize that you did not have a great experience with our team member and will be willing to refund the $89 diagnostic fee that you received. Please give us a call at ********** and we will be more than happy to help you.
