    I brought my truck for an insurance covered repair and they took 6 months to complete it and then did extra work without me authorizing it and refused to return my vehicle unless I paid $650 out of pocket after insurance paid $24,000 on the claim.

    *********************** called my business and asked if I could fix her 2014 Ram; that it had been at the dodge dealership for 4 months and that they would not fix her truck.
    I said yes that we could fix it. She had it towed to my business without telling me #1 that it was going to be an insurance claim or claims involved in the work.  She told me that she had pump gas in the truck when it was supposed to been diesel only and drove this truck until it done severe damage and it quit running.  So once I got A diagnosis ON  the truck THAT IT needed an engine and fuel pumps and exhaust work that when she informed me that her insurance would pay for repairs.  AFTER mouths OF waiting for insurance approvals on parts and labor and also waiting on parts to come in and getting engine and exhaust repair done.

    ************************* then came and picked her truck up after these repairs we did. I told her that the check engine light was on, because of the turbo and the **** brake was bad. Insurance wouldn't pay for turbo. ************************* then told me that she talked to insurance and they said to summit another claim for turbo. So while truck was here I told her she needed 2 batteries. She told me ok go ahead and replace them. She also had a bad key fob to start truck she then said insurance should pay for both.  Well I summitted a new claim for batteries and key fob and the insurance denied the claim; stating that this didn't have anything to do with major repairs being done that caused the problem for it being fixed.

    I called and ************************* that insurance wouldn't cover the batteries and key fob. She left truck here for another 4 weeks; because she said insurance is going to pay for batteries and key fob. 

    I resolved this issue by not charging ************************* $ 75 for key fob. Also she asked me if I would sell her the 2 batteries for what she could get them off internet for. I asked her how much was it she said $280.

    I resolved this customers complaint and she left with her 2014 Ram a happy customer.
