    I would leave 0 stars if I could. THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM, which is so unfortunate because I wanted to support a local black owned business. I should have known better when he told me he was from ********. He charged me $5000 deposit on work that had to be stopped the FIRST day because of 1. Work was not up to code and argued with me about pulling a permit for the work 2. Used the wrong materials. Either this man believes he is doing the work correctly or he KNOWS HE IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. I had to tear apart everything they did because the platform he built was bouncing up and down like a trampoline and they only used 16 screws to hold together an entire platform for a room to be raised 3 feet. He did not take down the drywall per the agreement and when I asked for a revised invoice he told me I would not be receiving any money in return because he paid his electrician over $2k & his plumber $1400 FOR TAKING OUT A HOT WATER HEATER THAT I DRAINED. He did not leave any of the materials he bought for my project except a few sheets of drywall. This man literally robbed me blind instead of owning up to the fact he does terrible work that is not up to code. Since he did not take down the drywall, he blindly shot screws in the wall and was less than an 1/8 of a centimeter away from piercing my copper pipes. They covered up an hvac hole, lied and told me he had blocked it off (after taking everything apart it was still intact with the retainer over it and everything). The door he hung literally fell off the casing as I was using it the list GOES ON. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
