      This review is for an online purchase. I received an item (bra) that was unlike the one in the photo. The item did not match the description or photos online, but the tag had the same upc number. I called customer service and was asked to describe the item, and was then pressed for more an more details about the bra. He didn't understand, so I kept offering to send photos, but was placed on hold while the man spoke to his manager. Finally he said there was nothing he could do - I would have to pay return shipping (after already paying shipping to receive the incorrect item). He gave me the corporate phone number. I tried them but was on hold for an hour and kept getting kicked out of line. Customer service is a joke.

      The customer is welcome to return the item to be inspected at the warehouse. However, we will be unable to waive the return fee if the product she received matches the online description.

      I would give them no stars if possible. The staff were not hospitable at all, some what condescending and combative. I bought perfume as a gift and specifically asked if i could return it and they said yes, but never mentioned a 30 day policy. I am more upset about the lack of service or common politeness from the staff and managers. I fully believe Dillards will be the next chain to be gone. I will never be back.

      If i could give a zero i would! Purchase a Louis Vuitton bag for over 2000 dollars, its peeling and I can get any assistance from Dillards!:! I made contact with Louis Vuitton, they are unaware Dillard's is selling their product! ! I will fight for my money back! I'm posting it everywhere

      Dillards customer service is so bad, I will NEVER shop there again. A long-time shopper of Macys, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, etc. if/when there is a problem with a purchase- worn/not worn, they strive for stellar customer service, stand behind their products, and will do what it takes for customer satisfaction. Dillards does NOT meet those standards or even try. I purchased a Barefoot Dreams robe on Dillards website- the size I’ve always worn, L, for $168. A perfect fit upon receiving- after 2 weeks of wearing it, the robe stretched out so much that it’s unwearable- a TRIP HAZARD. Starting my ankle bone, it stretched into a puddle on the floor, and the arms have stretched out, getting in the way of everything. I can wrap it around me close to twice. Obviously there’s something wrong with the manufacture and sizing of this particular item. I contacted the manufacturer and was informed that I should contact Dillards where it was purchased. BFD only accepts returns or exchanges of items purchased on their website.
      In my experience with all of the stores listed above, their customer service being exceptional if there was ever a problem, DILLARDS unequivocally REFUSED TO HELP ME IN ANY WAY, even after explaining the unique situation never happening with BFD purchases before. They refused to do anything because “it was worn.” Retail businesses can return defective merchandise to the manufacturer for credit. It was even within the 30-day return policy, and I would’ve returned it immediately if it was too big. HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM IF IT WASN’T WORN?? I asked a rhetorical question: If an item fell apart two weeks after purchasing due to a manufacturer issue, would they stand behind their merch, take it back, and deal with the company they purchase from? The answer: NO. Unless they can do something about it (just an exchange) I will never patronize a company that doesn’t stand behind their merch and doesn’t care about their customers.

      If only I could give 0 stars. I paid off my account on in January, with Dillard's cashing the check on 1/7/25. I received a letter that my account was paid in full. Well, the next month I received a notice my account was past due. I called, and was told I needed to fax a copy of the cashed cashier's check from my bank. I faxed the requested information and I was told the dispute to my account would be handled. I get another letter from Dillard's saying that the dispute had been closed, and I owed the $1000. The next day my credit report was 70 points down because Dillard's reported I was over 90 days late (mind you I had been calling and monitoring the situation and I was told they would not report the payment because it was their issue). I was told to fax the information again regarding the payment, and I called to to ensure they got the information. I spoke to a lady on the phone and I told her about the dispute, the credit report issue, etc. to which she replied I should just pay the account off again, and Dillard's would return any monies that I was owed! It is now April 9, and the dispute has finally been taken care of, however, Dillard's has failed to report to credit bureau that it was their mistake. Please stay away!

      Bought 2 tops for relative as a gift. She didn't like them and mailed back to me. I mailed back to Dillards and they would not accept. DONT BUY PRESENTS AT DILLARDS

      Made an online purchase, Great product, great price, but sizing was inaccurate and they would not exchange or refund. Who does that? I will never shop with them again.

      Dillard is completely going downhill.I ordered a dress $165.000 they immediately bill my card.l been waiting for 5he dress over three weeks.Call for my money to be refund .They said they was going to refund it.This took five more calls.lm still waiting ,this store need to go out of business ASAP buyer beware.Horrible
