      Arvest Bank is one of the worst banks I have ever encountered. When you have money in your account, don’t expect to be able to use it as you want to. This bank will randomly decide to decline any transaction that you attempt to make to switch your money to a different card. They think it’s their money to do what they want with instead of it being your money! Then when you confront them they act stupid. If you have an attitude bc they tried holding your money hostage they don’t like that either

      Really zero stars. This bank has no technology and rude unhelpful customer service. I opened an Arvest credit card and the first time I tried to use it it was declined. I called and talked what appears to be the only guy working there. He said my account was locked and the only way to unlock it would be to email a picture of my ID and proof of income. First off, my income comes from multiple sources and second sending any information via unsecured email is dangerous and ridiculous. I asked if he could verify my identity with security questions from my credit report (where I have and 850 or 880 score depending on which one they use) as other financial institutions do. He said no. Anyone else I could talk to? No. Can I just close the account? Not without emailing the information. What a joke of a bank they give out a new credit card and then try to verify income via email after. Never again will I mess with such a comically Mickey Mouse bank-- no offense to Mickey who seems very professional by comparison.

      No matter how many times you call you get a different answer they want to just keep your money and tell you oh you're going to have to wait because that place closed early even though they're not supposed to close till 5:00. Then when you call and ask to speak with a bank manager or somebody you get hung up on three times and told to call back tomorrow even though they're still open until 6:00. I will do everything in my power to never recommend this crappy place to anybody else

      I had a problem and I worked with Jessica T******* from Arvest mortgage care team. She was outstanding and listened to my concerns. She is trust worthy, honorable and personable. When Jessica says she is going to do something she sticks to her word. She had my problem taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. When she tells you she is going to call you she keeps her word.This is my second mortgage I had with Arvest. I would highly recommend Arvest if you are looking for a mortgage for your home. I have worked with Missy, Sarah and Renee at one of there branches in Russellville Arkansas also. All three of them did an outstanding job for me with my first mortgage and also my second mortgage for my Arkansas home. All four are the best of the best with Arvest Bank.

      Their Balanceeraser loan is a SCAM ! I received and applied for this advertisement for 6.99% loan to consolidate and pay off high interest credit card debt. Worked with two different employees from arvest bank, pulling my credit, deciding what we were going to pay off. We worked together for over a week - then the day came that we were going to sign papers, pay creditors and close on my loan. Fyi - my credit score was in the 700’s . Somehow ? Instead of the advertised 6.99% i was told my interest rate was going to be 16.99%. I was confused and upset and should have said No forget this, but i didn’t. I took the loan that really was not helping me. I wasn’t advised to close any cards or not to charge them back up. Arvest bank did not care to really help me and they didn’t. I could not afford that payment and this loan is what started me on a downward path. My credit is now ruined with a 500 credit score and creditors dropping my lines of credit to nothing. Beware !!

      Do not trust this mortgage company to help you with recovery post covid. Like many folks I had to defer my mortgage payments after being laid off from both of my jobs during covid. Even once I was hired back (at a lower salary) covid as well as economic changes affected my ability to make my payments causing more months to be deferred. While the company says they want to help customers keep their homes, after numerous attempts to get a modified loan I keep getting told conflicting information from employees (you can never speak to the same person twice and they rely on notes in the computer to understand the situation, which have not been helpful) they have also said they have tried to contact me multiple times to speak to me when I have had no calls from them. I have resorted to emailing them. They did not respond to my email regarding a payment that needs to be made on January 1 until 5:42 PM on the Friday before New Year’s weekend. They will be closed Monday for the holiday and the loss. Mitigation department is not open on weekends, so therefore it is impossible for me to get ahold of anyone to speak about this payment due.

      I’m about ready to close my account with them. Their app is wrong consistently. I deposited a check and it will not go into my bank account. I called the 24 hour line and entered my account information, and it said my account is not in their records. I entered in my information several more times to make sure I entered it correctly, and it’s still saying my account is not in their records. This isn’t even the first time this has happened. I trusted this bank with my finances and now I have hundreds of dollars in limbo somewhere because my check will not deposit and my account supposedly doesn’t exist. Despite me using this account almost daily. This is ridiculous.

      Deposited a loan from my 401k, (T Rowe Price), to help in purchasing and new vehicle, was told that they might put a hold on it. When I asked how long the hold would be, I was told it's usually just a day or two. Recived a voice mail from Arvest, one day later, that they only process those checks once a month, two weeks later. Would not recommend this bank to anyone
