This team is professional, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. After another HVAC company—hired by my builder—completely botched my system, EPIC Mechanical came to my rescue. They brought in a team of experts to work alongside them, demonstrating efficiency, expertise, and a genuine concern for my situation, especially with a medically fragile child in the home. They treated my home as if it were their own, addressing every issue with urgency and care. I couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommend!

This company lied to the financial company that the work was completed so that they could be paid. It’s been 2 weeks and still have no central heating and air. Owner is unprofessional and doesn’t know how to talk to a customer whom has been inconvenienced. Trying to place the blame on the customer.

This company installed a new unit in our home leaving the condensate line dripping over an open pipe in our floors that was unsealed because it was not a true drain line. The condensate line should have been run either to the outside of our residence away from the house or it could have even been attached to the sink that sits next to the system and was attached to a proper drain line. However the pipe they used with the open drip collapsed and caused our downstairs bedroom to flood. I called the company and requested management to call me, which they never did. I took the pictures of how they left the condensate line dripping over the pipe and went to the company in person. I spoke with a gentleman named Calvin, who looked at the pictures and sent two men out on a Saturday to fix the repair and stop the leak. The men showed up repaired the condensate line using electrical tape, took pictures of the damage and left. They took the condensate line, ran it over to where our washing machine drains and attached the line with electrical tape. As soon as the washing machine kicked on, it blew the line out of the hole causing more flooding. Our ac unit then shut off and I had to call another company, who came Monday and cost me over $300 to repair and install the condensate line correctly. After leaving messages with the company, and again their failer to respond. I took the new receipt and went again in person to Epic and again talked to Calvin. Calvin said the company would except responsibility for the damage, fix our floors and reimburse us for having to call out another company. After weeks of no responses again, I finally got a hold of Calvin who said the estimate was to high for our floors. But he would at least pay our deductible and reimburse our new bill. I started calling Calvin again this week and I am again without response. Our damage to our floors were over $14,000 and insurance only paid $10,000. Do not use this company.

I came here to say all the things that all of these other reviews said. This is a company that is not to be trusted. I also was told I needed a new unit for $14k and that they would finance it for 10 years for $300 a month. That is $36k at least before you are done. That’s crazy. They should be out of business. I am paying out of pocket to have the part fixed and will see them in small claims court.

Issue was still unresolved 3+ months after first filing a claim. My home warranty contracted out the job to Epic Mechanical. Extremely poor communication, parts were ordered 3 times. 1st time they didn’t realize it was the wrong parts until they had already came out for the appointment to fix the HVAC. 2nd time they failed to have someone pick up the parts & so they got shipped back. Epic called me the morning of the appointment for them to come out & fix it, & just told me that the ‘parts just never came in’. Lie. After speaking with my warranty company, they were able to tell me the tracking history of the shipment from the supplier. The parts had indeed come in, but due to no one from Epic picking them up, the parts got returned back to sender. 3rd round of parts came in after finally getting them expedited thanks to warranty company, & we still had to wait well over a week for an appointment even after speaking to Epic’s manager, Steph. Tech came out, I assume installed something, & told me that apparently one of the parts (the txv, I believe) was still the wrong part. The tech (Logan) said it should be working after a while though even without that part as be thought it was just “cosmetic damage”. No, still had the same issue even after running the HVAC for hours. After that, our warranty swapped us to a different contractor. Every time we tried to schedule an appointment with Epic after the first initial diagnostic one, it would take 10-17 days before they could come out. Our HVAC is now still out 4 months after filing a claim. If they couldn’t fix it in a reasonable timeframe, they should’ve just said so & replaced the HVAC. They should own up to their mistakes instead of lying to their customers. They cancelled appointments several times the morning of them. Epic Mechanical is not so epic after all. Please, please, save yourself the stress & time wasted by using a different company.

Epic Mechanical service company is the worse company to ever be in my house. I have First American Home warranty & that is who they sent. I had a clogged drain & they did not attempt to unclog just told me I needed a complete new drain line installed. I also had another unit that was completely out & they said it was the compressor. They said they could order a compressor but suggested we needed a new unit. Then when we said no not a new unit they said they would replace the compressor. I called another company & paid out of my pocket & he had the drain line unclogged with in 30 minutes. He said the compressor was out on the other unit& told us it was too old to get a compressor because it was not the new Puron. Epic tried for about an hour to sell us two new units & did absolutely nothing to get the line unclogged. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    These people are snakes.
We first go assigned them through our home warranty because our 30 year old hvac unit wasn't blowing cold air. They told us that it would have to be completely replaced but that the home warranty wouldn't cover the replacement, so they could cut us a deal and give us a good discount. We tell them no, just fix the broken part because we can't afford to replace it.
The hvac then goes out again and again Epic comes out. They again say, it's totally broken, not fixable, here's a quote for a total replacement, and the home warranty won't cover any part of it. We speak to the home warranty people and they tell us that Epic indicated in their report that our hvac was working completely fine.
Now we are having an issue with our furnace. We already had one company come out and look at it, they said "yeah it's old, it needs to be replaced." Cool. So we go through the home warranty company again and again they assign Epic. Well Epic comes to our house and says "Oh my god, your unit is leaking carbon monoxide" I don't know how that's possible since I have a Carbon Monoxide detector, but whatever. They say they have to turn off the heat. The lows have been in the 20s this week. They tell us they can replace our unit for X amount and that the home warranty company will give us a credit for $1500. Now they're saying we only get a credit for $600.
There are snakes. I think they shut off our heat to force us to buy a new unit through them. What a joke.

It has been a nightmare working with them. Our furnace went out two months ago and we went through Choice Home Warranty, who assigned Epic. They came out, said it was one part. The next week they put that part in, but said it must be another part that was bad--said they'd have that one at the end of the week. Two weeks later, I called back--they hadn't ordered the part; when they got it in two weeks after that, I realized they'd ordered the wrong part. They said they would return the following day with it, but the technician forgot to let the scheduler know. So it was several days before they came back out. Again, they said they needed another part. The tech said the gas valve was faulty which caused the control board to fry. But, when they turned it in to the warranty company three days later, the report said the damage was caused by an electrical surge (which, according to the supervisor, happened when the tech plugged everything in). At that time, the warranty company said they would not cover any more work on the furnace. So, two months later, we still had no heat. We called another company, who came out the following day, replaced the gas valve, and the heat works just fine. There was no problem with the control board and no electrical issue. Epic Mechanical just really messed this one up. It cost us much more time and money than it should have. I would NOT recommend this company for HVAC work. They don't know what they're doing and they will most likely forget about you and forget what's going on with your furnace.

I too have First American Home Warranty and just like everyone else, they sent Epic Mechanical to service my HVAC. They said the lines needed to be flushed and I thought that had fixed the problem. NOPE! I called Epic Mechanical and told them the issue persists and they scheduled an appt to come back out today. They were no-shows. I tried to call them, but they close at 4:00. What HVAC company closes at 4:00 on a weekday?!?! Epic Mechanical does, that’s who. I called FAHW to complain and told them I want a different HVAC company. They begrudgingly said they would. We shall see……..

They were contracted through First American Home Warranty. They didn’t resolve the issue or take any steps to remedy the situation. Naturally, it became worse and more damage occurred. Called to communicate this to them and all they wanted to do was sell me a service contract.
