Waste Connections of Arizona's automated **************** is ineffective. I have attempted to contact them regarding repeated requests to replace a broken trash container. Each week, I receive an automated response to have my container "out from 6am to 6 pm. Each week I drag the container from my back yard to the curb. And every week I end up carrying the container back to my back yard. I have attempted to contact **************** multiple times. However, all the contact numbers go to the same automated response system. It recognizes my complaint as a repeated concern but states the date is in the future, when it is in the past. I even told it my first complaint was filed two weeks ago. It responds that that would have been 20 May ********************************************************************************************************* June of 2024 and it took the company 5 weeks to replace my trash container. Having to submit a damaged container ticket each week is unacceptable. If **************** is automated, there should be an option to contact an actual representative. And it should not take weeks to have a broken container replaced.Business Response

I do apologize that our routes occasionally run behind, and your work order was pushed. I do see that it was completed and fixed on 6/10/2025. On November 21, 2024 there was a bulk pickup by Waste Connections of Arizona in *********, **. That morning I looked out my back window on Price Road, where Waste Connections has no accounts, picking up my Antique Native Amercian Chair with handmade and hand painted tiles. While I have no documentation of this piece many of my neighbors loved it and thought it was unique and one neighbor even offered me $2000.00 for it. This is the piece my wife, who loved treasure hunting, found and loved. It's one of the memories I have of her since her passing in 2020. This piece was sitting there for three years while other bulk pickups went on before in *********. As I stated before they have no accounts on Price Road. My house backs up to Price Road an has an Illinois address. Plus, I don't even have an account with them. They are only suppose to pick up at houses on ************ that have accounts with them. The driver gave me ****** phone number. Talked to him that morning said he would call me back, but never did so I had to call him back later in the day. When I called back he gave me a number for ***** ******* he is the office manager. I called ***** and tried to get a resolution I would be happy with. After negotiating in good faith starting at $2000.00 it seemed like I could only get $850.00 he would agree to. At which time he said he it would take awhile to get a check and it would have to be cleared by *** first. I ended up calling ***** to find out what was going on days later and ***** said he could only give me a $500.00 gift certificate to American Family Furniture which I can't even use. I was going to call ***, but I'm tired of playing pass the ***** This sure seems a shady way for a company to take care of business when they damage property. I have another neighbor who had property damaged and went through the same thing too.Business Response

The company is picking up commercial containers at 4:30am within 100 feet of residential neighborhoods at ********************************************************* at *******************. This activity is against the law as this violates noise ordinance as the driver is disturbing the peace at 4:30am. This activity is only to take place after 6am until 9pm. Since December 2022 - Waste Connections has raised its rates multiple times and is NOT notifying its ************ issues is that when you are budgeting for payments and then your bill is $15 higher then expected - you would like to know that is happening Its just bad business practice that I'd like to see Waste Connection change. This change reflects a necessary adjustment to cover increased operating and disposal costs. We understand that rate adjustments are never welcoming news, but please know that we have made every effort to keep the adjustment as minimal as possible while continuing to ensure the best possible service for our customers. The invoice is the 30 day notice, as you have 30 days to pay the account. I do see you are on autopay so the amount was taken after the invoice went out, if you would like we can adjust the rate this month for you to last months rate.

Waste Connections of Arizona is refusing to remove their large roll-off *****************potty from my driveway due to an unrelated payment dispute with the contractor who rented this equipment. They have refused my request to remove the equipment until the contractor has paid them, per my phone call to WC on 12/4/23. I have no contract or account with WC & no direct business relationship with them. This equipment should have been removed in mid-November, per my removal request to the contractor as my construction project ended then. ****************************** is the contractor (ROC#******) who directly rented this equipment from WC. I am not a party to their payment dispute & have paid Legacy per the terms of my contract with them. I have notified both parties in writing (letter dated 12/4/23) to remove this equipment by 12/18, as the payment issue should be handled between them directly & my private property should not be used for WC to store their equipment as I can neither park my vehicles on my driveway or get into my own garage. Additionally, the porta-potty is starting to smell & could pose a potential health hazard or neighborhood nuisance. Thank you for any help you can offer!Business Response

Trash Bulk pick up was advertised for Thursday 04/20/2023 if requirements of size and bundling were met. We requested our pick up and we received 2 confirmation emails, one 7 days in advance and 1 the day before the scheduled pick up. We want bundles of limbs, 4 feet long picked up. We followed pick up instructions including having the bundles at the curbside the night of the 19th. Our bulk limbs were not picked up, and still on the curb today 04/25/2023. We telephoned and spoke with a young man on Friday 04/21/2023 and that young man stated he did not see our address on their pick up list. He stated the team was still working with pick *** in ********* and he will email the team. We filed a missed pick up-bulk on the waste management app and we received a call today from a young lady who stated our bulk was not picked up because the driver stated it was not bundled. When we advised they are in individual bundles as required and have photos to prove it, she then stated the driver stated it was too far from the curb. Once again we advised that is furthest from the truth, it is right on curbside. She stated she would email the driver.The fact that a large corporation can make an error then attempt to flat out lie to there consumer is unbelievable. Especially in this day and age of options with competitors, even if there is only 1 competitor. There action, if they do not fulfill their first agreed upon pick up will cost me $100.00 to have these bundles removed.Business Response

Waste company refuses to empty receptacle that they provide. Drivers in a hurry so can is literally only half emptied, this has been going on for 3 weeks, nothing is jammed in can, just very poor service, Ive contacted business multiple times and absolutely nothing is doneBusiness Response

I have used this company for my trash services and the price has dramatically increased for the past few billing cycles, one substantially higher then the next with the only explanation being fuel cost. The bill has increase almost 85% higher then it was originally. I sought services with waste management instead as they are a lot more reasonable and have been trying to cancel the service with Right Away (now listed as Waste Connections of AZ). Every time I call I get an automated service and whenever I request to speak to an agent I am disconnected (more the 10 times I have tried calling). I tried to see if there is an online option and their website says canceling requires me to speak to an agent. I do not even have an option to leave a message as it just disconects me whenever I try to call. I have also tried calling at different times and different days.Business Response

I do see you tried calling on Saturday ,January 14th when we were closed and got through to our afterhours voicebot system. I will go ahead and close the account from January 14th. Your quarter started on 12/1/22-2/28/23, you paid $174.73 on 1/14/23 for that quarter. I have refunded the total amount of $87.36 back to your card. You should see that in about **** business days.

They charge you for a service then provide that service when they feel like it. I believe you should provide that service as scheduled. That is what the Customer is paying for.Business Response
