  Have purchased 2 vintage vcr units from Porter and both were shipped timely, very well packaged and both are working perfectly! VCRs are difficult to find, as are companies with such excellent customer service!

  I purchased a refurbished VCR and it's working perfectly, was delivered timely and the packaging was very good. Happy customer! And it's nice to know where to look for old tech!!

  I have made a number of purchases from Porter Electronics and have been pleased that each purchase has served me for years. In addition, I have received excellent support in terms of documentation and operation of the recorders I have purchased. The policy they have for returns is what made choose Porter on my first purchase. I have not had to return any of my purchases over the years. I have and will continue to recommend Porter to all of my family and friends.

  False internet advertising showing a closed storefront and selling "refurbished"...saying professionally checked by their techs before shipment...wrong I spent 400 for a dvd recorder with vcr and ATSC tuner. The ** tuner input no good, the dvd recorder only played music cd's and I have every brand and type of recordable dvd and recorderable cd to test with. Used the vcr after 4hour went off and all the machine did was scroll zeros on its little screen. Turns out they are just a warehouse. Don't refurb...don't have techs...buy from several places they trust. Bogus impression to sell. Didn't say for 400 I also got no cord and remote that sells for 8 dollars. I have many years experience and had many dvd recorders. This ******************************** worn out junk being promoted as refurbed and tested. Shop elsewhere...
