      I had The Brake Shop do clutch and transmission work on my **** GTO in April of 2022. Specifically, "Remove transmission and replace clutch disc, pressure plate. Install throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Remove fly wheel and have surfaced. Reassemble." They could not find a clutch, so I provided one. Within 70 miles of driving, my husband and I noticed it was having problems shifting in 1st and 2nd gear. I took it back to The Brake Shop who said it needed gear oil, we paid to have the service done. Within ************************** November it was still not working right and now had a transmission leak. It went back in and they "Removed and resealed the extension housing replaced output seal." I paid again to have that fixed.In January 2023, I took the car on a trip (less than **** miles) and the clutch was slipping the whole time and was still leaking transmission fluid so I took it back in and was told by **** that the transmission leak repair was still under warranty but the transmission had problems beyond their capabilities and advised that we should take it to a transmission specific shop. I took it to Aamco and "During disassembly tech found that throw out bearing was not installed correctly and caused clutch to not disengage properly leading to excessive internal component wear." It seems all these problems are connected to the faulty work done in April of 2022. I spent $1915.39 at The Brake Shop (including the ruined clutch) and then spent another $3,116.25 at Aamco, which included extra hours to repair the damaged transmission parts. I went back to The Brake Shop 3 times (twice spoke with **** and once with ****) and asked to have the owner call me about this. I never heard from him. I am requesting a refund of $3000 to be made whole.
