On February 16, 2017, BBB requested AirSystems360 substantiate or discontinue claims made in a Groupon advertisement which states; “award winning customer service”. 

According to BBB Code of Advertising 30. Testimonials and Endorsements; 

30.1 “In general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if:”
30.1.1 “It is not genuine and does not actually represent the current opinion of the endorser;”

BBB requested AirSystems360 substantiate this claim by providing a copy of or a link to the award they had received as well as the name of the endorser. If they were unable to substantiate, BBB requested the company discontinue this ad and any future ads like it to adhere to BBB Code of Advertising. The business did not respond to BBB concerns.
