    Literally the worst experience weve ever had, if I could Id give no stars. My son had an oil leak on his rear main seal on his truck, and ****** Ernestos son told us 3 days he would fix all of the seals and it would be $1075. We dropped off the vehicle 8/21/23. ****** at the beginning was communicative, had a contract for my son to sign and everything seemed legit. We paid a smaller portion up front. After a week we had no response, we tried to reach out with no luck. My husband reached out and ****** finally responded saying he had been in contact with my son which was untrue, but this was the first of many new ETAs for the work to be done that he would give us. He would stop responding and we would have to keep messaging/calling for a response. So on 9/22/23 we went there, at this point we had been promised 5 different finish times. We got there and the truck was in pieces. My husband went into the shop and spoke to ******* the dad and owner of the shop who said I will work on it all weekend and I promise it will be done by Monday. Then we had to reach out to him on Monday and of course there was another excuse as to why it wasnt done. They continued with this run around of dates for several more days and we finally just had the truck towed to a different shop. When the new mechanic got it he noticed immediately there were parts missing. Ernestos body shop has stolen both catalytic converters from the truck. We are currently pursuing legal action, but in this process we were accused of not being compassionate by giving them enough time, when its not a month long job, they called us racist for not giving them a chance when we gave several well over 6. By far the worst experience we have ever had with a mechanic and not knowing a ton about cars they definitely took advantage of us, and I know from their responses we are not the first and if we dont take action we wont be the last.
