    Caution: Consider Alternative Facilities for ************ Our father was transported by ambulance to Quail Run from the Yuma, **, emergency room on a Sunday. Unfamiliar with this facility and its procedures, we encountered significant communication challenges. Despite numerous attempts to get updates on our father's condition, the nursing staff failed to return our calls and did not permit direct communication with him unless my father called us.Communication from Dr. ***** ****, M.D., was particularly concerning. Our father was admitted on a Sunday, yet we did not receive any updates from Dr. **** until Tuesday. Additionally, Dr. **** discontinued our father's antidepressant medication abruptly, without consulting us about his medical history.During our visit, we found that other visitors shared similar negative experiences, feeling isolated and uninformed. One elderly dementia patient reportedly had a *** for three days before receiving treatment.Based on our experience, we strongly advise seeking alternative care options for your loved ones.

    Yes my wife had some anxiety issues here last week and I called a crisis place they came out they were very pleasant and decided that she might need some inpatient care well every since she got there she has gotten worse I have visited and tried to find out about what they were doing and have yet talked to anyone a nurse was going to have a doctor call me today he never did nor anyone one else even after I called three different times still have not heard a word my wife dont like the place and feels she made a big mistake and I went yesterday they told me she could not even sign a leave against medical advice that I would have to get a court order Im not sure but I think she is being held against her will we both have been under a lot of stress we just retired and moved out here to be close to our kids and grand kids but the heat the not knowing if we made the right decision and all that has taken its toll on us but for them to take and not let me know a thing about what they are doing and my wife telling me she dont want to be there is taking its toll on me I just know when I call and ask it takes for ever for them to answer the phone and then they transfer you and then it takes for ever for some to pick up then they tell me they will have the doctor call and dont even tell me he wont be able to or anything this is not professional this is wrong and I demand it be closed and want answers now

    Horrible place who punishes the victims in aggressive/ life threatening situations and lets the abuser patient walk free with no repercussions.

    1st of all 1 star is too much for this place. If you are concerned for a loved one do not, I repeat DO NOT bring them to this facility. I was assured that they had an open door policy and that the patient/Guardian could check themselves out just as easy as they checked in. I asked every question I thought I knew to ask and was told, and I quote "Were not that kind of place" The day before I took my fianc here I took her to an internist fairly certain that what she was going through was hormonal or some other underlaying issue. There they did labs and just called me back to inform me that her potassium levels are dangerously low and that she is at risk of heart failure. I immediately called Quail run. They assured me "she was being taken care of" and that the issue would be addressed when the Dr. made his rounds and saw her. I insisted that the issue sounded anything other than routine and to please DO NOT treat this as such. They did do exactly that. The call from the internist came just after 8:00 A.M. and was not addressed until after 11:00 I then asked that they prepare my fianc for discharge as I would be there shortly to take her to another facility. She is still there now and being held against her/my will. They refuse to release her to me. This is a total nightmare. Originally, when I read the negative reviews about this place I ignored them thinking to myself that the people that wrote them were more than likely mentally disturbed and that people are more likely to complain about poor service than they are compliment good service as a rule of thumb. They are absolutely insisting on holding her against her will so they can bill for another day. Don't let the looks of the new building fool you. Don't believe them when they tell you that they have an open door policy and if the patient or guardian is unhappy with the treatment that they can check out just as easily as they checked in. DO believe all the terrible reviews written about this place. I am so sorry
