1 starDiscriminatory Practices against my dog. My dog, Panther, had a grokming appt for today with ********. Panther was passed around and her appt was changed to someone who wasnt on schedule then her appt was cancelled. I was never notified her groomer was changed to someone who wasnt on schedule. As a matter of fact, ************* listed on schedule for the entire week. Ive taken Panther to this Petsmart multiple times in the past and the staff have never told me anything negative about Panther. When I called to find out why Panther's appointment was changed then cancelled, I was told it was because the groomer didnt shownup & no one else could take her. I took that as no one else wanted to take her. Petsmart needa to hire groomers who actually want to do their job versus hiring people who make arbitrary grooming appointments with staff who arent on the schedule; hence inconveniencing customers. This practice is discriminatory! Dont take your animal to this place for anything. They have lazy, discriminatory, pet hating staff in their grooming department.Review fromSonshey E

1 starBEWARE I brought my 11 months old shih tzu for a wash and clean up hair cut. Cut just underneath (belly/chest) due to a little bit of matting. Mind you, she had just been groomed literally 6 weeks prior and I keep both my dogs brushed everyday and groomed (I also have an older boy shih tzu who had an appt also for a couple weeks later of which I quickly CANCELED), she really just needed to be cleaned up a little. Her hair was flowing beautifully. I told them do not cut her, just clean up (belly/chest/chin) area. I paid extra to upgrade to a better shampoo and conditioner. Needless to say when I picked my baby up, they skinned her. ALL of her hair was shaved and they even did a terrible job at that (it was uneven and choppy if that make sense) I would add photos, but would not want to embarrassed my baby like that - the internet is forever. I have been working on myself lately, with the old me it would have been some consequences and repercussions in that store lol but the new me calmly paid my bill and took my baby- livid all the way home. I know her hair will grow back and when it does she will never see the inside of a Petsmart Grooming ever again... they will never get my hard earned $ again. It was a wasted $100. I write this review simply to inform you, my animal loving parents, not to take your baby here. I should have turned and walked out once I saw how one groomer was talking to a dog that would not sit still for her. A HUGE red flag, silly me and my puppy paid the price smh. Oh I forgot to tell you, even though I paid extra for upgraded shampoo and conditioner, she didn't get that, if they even bathed her at all. Also, mind you she's a tiny dog (about 13 lbs), they put a hanky around her neck for the size of an adult husky or german shepherd - I think they were trying to be funny, I saw it as their ignorance but it's the new me, so I paid my bill never ever ever ever ever to return again. 1 star***************, ******** $292 was stolen out of our wallet when it fell on the ground, apparently an old man returned the wallet from outside but the money that was wrapped in a receipt was taken instead of all the cash,when we went back to get it and noticed some money missing, the cashier seemed unwilling to get a manager to look at the cameras when the manager was asked for instead ( her names ********) she rolled her eyes, smirked, & made a face at the cashier when turning around thinking I wouldnt see & was at a loss for words when I asked her not to make faces at my situation & to help when I asked for her manager. Now the highest of managers shows up & they are telling us theres nothing they can do, I ask for their manager or the store managers name so I can ask to speak to them $ they cant give out personal information they said they didnt know the store managers name & if they did they couldnt help me. so today We call up there asking for the store manager she says hes not in but she is his right hand man She says she is going to look at the cameras to at least be able to tell us if the wallet even left the store, because we thinm when he picked up the dog food (40lb bag) it knocked it out of his pocket there in the store.Turns out it WAS dropped in the store between the entry way & the parking lot, she says a man picked it up, brought it right to the register and it doesnt look like he fumbled with it or anything, from there ******* takes it to the safe but she doesnt pay attention to what ******* does because she trusts her employees so we ask so if the customer doesnt mess with the cash but it goes to your employees hands then comes to us but the money between his receipt which is $292 is missing but not the money outside the receipt thats also in the clip which is 100 worth of 20s are still there, do you see the confusion? She says yeah I do but we trust our employees & this is all we can do. POLICE REPORT FILED!!!!!!Review fromWilliam K

1 starHorrible experience at Petsmart on ******************* in *************** ******** yesterday my fianc and I went in to get dog food after we left I pulled into the next parking lot and realized that I had left my wallet. When I went back to the store I asked to speak to a manager the manager came up front and asked what did my wallet look like? I explain to her that it was a blue ******** money clip, at that point she said yes I do have your wallet and she went back to get it. When she came back out I noticed that $292 with messing but there was $100 left in 20s so I asked the manager if she remembered what the person look like who turned in my money clip or wallet and she said it was a man but she didnt remember what he looked like and then it went from. She doesnt remember what he looks like to. It was a couple older couple, man and woman so the next thing I asked was well can you look on the camera so I could see what he looks like? Maybe he still in the parking lot and she responded by telling me that no she couldnt look at the camera that takes a call that would make a manager of her manager have to look at that video. So I asked her how do we start the process of having the manager of her manager for the footage and she wouldnt do anything about it they wouldnt called the manager of a manager. So this morning I called back to the store to speak to the store manager because last night the manager ******* that was there wouldnt cooperate and give me a phone number to contact anyone so when I called the manager today I left my contact number to get back a hold of me because she said that she would watch the video so I gave the manager some time and she watched a video and she said that they watched a video and watched me drop my money clip in between the entrance in the cart corral. The store. Manager, ***** said the man didnt mess with anything and my wife, but between the time my wallet went back to the safe my money was missing but manager wouldnt ask ********Review fromKimberly O

1 starIt's impossible for me to call them because as soon as I hit any number that they've suggested, the call is ended. This has been going on for over a year. Yes I have notified them twice via email, no resolve And now I've run into this wonderful situation...I placed an order yesterday afternoon and the status hasn't changed since I ordered it as in, label has been created. It's been greater than 24 hours and it's still in that status. I tried to cancel it first thing this morning which was very early, via email and they come back saying that it's in the process of being shipped so it cannot be canceled. Well that's great customer service especially now that it's been greater than 24 hours they're still going to say the same thing even though I'm telling them to cancel it. You need to cancel the order now It has been > 24 hours since I placed the order and it's still in the same state of Label Created. This is unacceptable! You need to cancel the order now This morning I was told it was in the process of being shipped. How is that when the status is the same as when I placed the order?! You need to cancel the order now I needed this today, tomorrow at the latest. Tomorrow is Friday and it hasn't shipped yet so if I'm lucky, I'll get it Monday. This is not acceptable.You need to cancel the order now I don't have any litter on hand. The litter box is running on empty. I am disabled and cannot go get litter because I cannot carry it in. 1 starRating negative 100, BAD customer service and communication with clients is NO COMMUNICATION at ALL.Made an appointment for my BooBoo to have a bath and nail cutting. Nobody informed me, according to the Manager ****, that they LEFT A VOICEMAIL!!!! NO MISS-CALL FROM THEM AND MY VOICEMAIL IS FULL since before pandemic!!!!****, said that she's very sorry AND I told her YOU ARE NOT!!!! 1 starThe aquarium stands sold by petsmart are absolute garbage. They are of shoddy design and construction. Never trust the weight of an aquarium to the junk provided by this company. 1 starMost unethical and inhumane business. Half the reptiles or fish I see in the numerous PetSmart locations I have been to are sick or dead. If you are going to have hundreds of animals at your stores, it is your responsibility to hire enough employees at a time to take care of all of them and not the 2 or 3 employees that work at a time. If you dont care to actually take care of the animals you sell, then just sell pet supplies only instead. It is cruel to neglect all the animals you sell when you sure dont mind making money off them.
