      If I could leave 0 stars I would. Petsmart (**********, **- University location) injured my dog while grooming and has ignored me, ignored corporate, and downplayed the severity of this situation for over 2 weeks (at this point in time). I have had to call *********** times to get resolution and justice for my fur baby. The staff at the local petsmart have shown no regard or consideration for this matter. Im quite sure they are waiting for the footage to be erased before responding back to me. After my dog was injured, he needed to undergo sedation and received several stitches- what the vet identified as a minor surgery all for what should have been a bath and full groom service. The negligence and lack of accountability is unfathomable. I question the ethics of how this location does business and recommend an investigation as well as training for all employees involved. Hopefully this is not how corporate approves of their branches treating customers and their fur babies. Its beyond disgusting.

      Horrendous customer service in the groom department in *********, **, ************************************* Needs to relocate from this address since their customer service is certainly NOT hospitable. I wouldnt take a possum to the rude, elderly woman groomer with glasses and long salt/pepper hair. I believe her name is ***** and whatever her name was she said she was the groom ***** manager. She spoke to me like a typical Southern racist with condescending undertones which I reported to their corporate office. Her attitude and demeanor is not suitable for humans much less non speaking pets!! Unfriendly and from the moment we entered their office she looked at us as if we didnt belong. Terrible experience and we will never patronize this establishment again! They need NEGATIVE STARS.

      I am SO upset. My past two experiences with petsmart was not good, but this is the closest to me and decided to give them another try. The first time, they didnt finish my dogs haircut and said he was behaving badly and couldnt finish it and I had to pick him up. I never had this issue before. The second time, they said they were able to cut his nails because he was moving too much and would let us touch it. I said ok thats FINE, but again, hes fine when he gets it done at home or when other people touch his paws??? At this point, are you just incompetent or lazy?? When I got home, I noticed they didnt even clean his ears or his **** gland!! His **** gland was leaking a few days later and it was FULL. I was annoyed at that point because I payed for a full service and a full service was NOT given. I headed up having to squeeze it myself to relieve him. This Petsmart deserves ZERO stars. I made an appointment for my dog to come in for a bath and brush. Since I was at work, I had my husband drop him off at 1:30 and 4:07pm they called and said he was ready. I got there at 5:30pm to pick him up. When I was in line at the register I smelled a p*** smell. My husband didnt leave his leash with them, so I had to hold him in my arms while waiting in line. Tell me why I looked at his behind and their was dried poop??? I was SOOO ******. I didnt want to make a scene. I ended up paying the full price and didnt even bother talking to the manager about it, because there was already an issue about me making an appointment for a bath and brush and PetSmart adding in a special, so I ended up having to pay extra. I got home, and checked his paws, and it smelled like poop!! And p*** debris in there too!! This Petsmart needs to be regulated and checked for sanitation and how they are handling our pets. This was preventable on there end. This did not need to happen and shouldnt have. It is animal cruelty at this point. This is really upsetting.

      Pet smarter customer service is horrible I placed a order for delivery and they tried to make me do a pick up order when I called customer service 3 minutes after placing the order they couldnt do anything but cancel my order make me wait 1-3 days for my money to return on my card

      Poorly trained sales associates and poor customer service provided by their managers. Never will I buy from them directly again for I will go to chewy for my pets essentials.

      PLEASE READ - ANIMAL CRUELTY. We had a horrific experience at the West ******* ********* Petsmart today.We came in to buy a toy for our bird and stopped quickly to look at the parakeets. One of the parakeets was struggling with its neck caught in a toy. We ran to get an employee, and they went into the back room, took the toy and the bird out, and we thought we saw them throw the toy with the live bird in the garbage can behind the locked door. We confronted the employee and she said she had birds of her own and would never do such a thing. We asked a different employee who ensured us the same number of birds were in the cage and that they take animal safety very seriously. We asked for a manager, who again ensured us they would never do such a thing. We asked to see the garbage can behind the locked door, and lo and behold, the live bird is thrashing, still stuck to the toy, in the garbage can.The manager then told us that obviously it was a mistake, they would never do such a thing. The employee must have thought the bird was part of the toy (wtf???). The employee must have done it by mistake.It's hard for me to believe you could throw an animal in the garbage by mistake. We will never be shopping at any Petsmart stores EVER again, let alone this particular location. I advise you do the same.We've reported this abuse to animal control.

      Petsmart grooming services is amazing. It is so hard to find a good cat groomer and ******** at the ******************** store is my go to girl! She is AMAZING. She is nice, professional, helpful and just so good at what she does. She deserves praise for how helpful she is with our new cat *****

      Discriminatory Practices against my dog. My dog, Panther, had a grokming appt for today with ********. Panther was passed around and her appt was changed to someone who wasnt on schedule then her appt was cancelled. I was never notified her groomer was changed to someone who wasnt on schedule. As a matter of fact, ************* listed on schedule for the entire week. Ive taken Panther to this Petsmart multiple times in the past and the staff have never told me anything negative about Panther. When I called to find out why Panther's appointment was changed then cancelled, I was told it was because the groomer didnt shownup & no one else could take her. I took that as no one else wanted to take her. Petsmart needa to hire groomers who actually want to do their job versus hiring people who make arbitrary grooming appointments with staff who arent on the schedule; hence inconveniencing customers. This practice is discriminatory! Dont take your animal to this place for anything. They have lazy, discriminatory, pet hating staff in their grooming department.
