This is a terrible company to do business with! Don't do it! No wonder they are not BBB accredited. They are non-transparent, deceptive and quite frankly fraudulent in their billing practices. They don't tell you until after you've created an account with then that there is a fee to drop off the bin. And they absolutely don't inform you that there is also a fee to pick up the bin if & when you "try" to cancel. I say try because they will tell you you're locked into another contract or that you still have to pay for the month even though you have not used their service for that month AND you (I) called before the next bill was due. This seems illegal to me! I think the Attorney General should be notified! There are almost 1000 negative reviews for Republic on this site alone, all stating the same complaints. Do NOT go through this company, Republic Waste, and their deceptive business practices! (This applies to any state you live in) Signed, disgruntled customer in ********Republic Services Inc

How high are the fees momma? 24% and rising!!! DONT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH REPUBLIC, I signed at $30 a pickup back in 2021 REPUBLIC SERVICES FLINT MI locked me into 3 yr contract and now my pickup per is $70 + fees on top of that. Just got my monthly 24% increase without any notification once again, terrible business practice, attorney general for the state of ******** is next. Price gouging, predatory pricing against small business, and false advertising will be the topics of todays conversation. I AM DONE, pick up your bins, I WANT OUTRepublic Services Inc

The business given by Republic Services in my area of ************ was unprofessional and disorganized. I paid for a dumpster to be delivered and the Services was not render in a timely matter.. I had to pay my moves extra money two times. When I called customer they simply did not empathize with my concerns. I was left without a solution for days. This been a horrible experience.Republic Services Inc

Out for profit, gives no service and charges for bin pick up, in the start of service they charge $50 -$60-$70-$111-$140 now, So why the $50 charge if it isn't for the bin pick up?! Profit, Profit, Profit !!!!!!!!!!!! I tell u is there any company that is truly honest anymore. I am incredibly frustrated with Republic Services regarding their excessive fees and unreasonable business practices. Over the years, their costs have increased dramatically, far exceeding what I consider fair for waste management services. The final straw, however, came when I decided to cancel my service and was informed that I would be charged an $89 fee just for them to pick up my waste bins. I was not offered the option to return the bins myself to avoid this outrageous charge, leaving me with no choice but to pay. This practice feels exploitative, especially after years of loyalty as a customer, and I find it unacceptable.Republic Services Inc

Hidden Fees. Today I called to terminate services because I am moving. They will not immediately cut off service, as they say their practice is to terminate at month's end. Since services are p***aid quarterly, I am effectively paying for an extra week because they will not terminate services today. Additionally, they are charging >$105 for 3 bins to be removed from the property after services are terminated. This seems inappropriate given I paid to have the bins provided up-front ("drop off" fee is what the customer service *** called it, stated it is $50/bin). She stated there is a drop-off and pick-up fee because they do not charge their customers a rental fee. I do not recall the pick-up fee for returning the bins being communicated to me at any point the last 7 years I have been a customer of ******************** (since 2017). It seems like Republic Services has become more like a cash-grab operation over the last 7 years. Quarterly fees for services have roughly 3x'ed over that time.Republic Services Inc

Incredibly poor business practices in general from Republic Services. I hope that nobody in ******** uses this company ever! It is ridiculous the treatment that this company gives to its customers. I have been back and forth with them for months, and they have not once followed through on a single promise! They have no respect for business owner's time, and have absolutely 0 accountability. My next steps are legal action unless Republic Service will make our dispute right. For those considering, DO NOT USE REPUBLIC!Republic Services Inc

This company offers an annual cost for services, then claims that it is not an annual contract so that they can charge for "changes in rates" at their discretion. I was with this company for approximately eight years. Then last year I paid the annual premium, only to have an additional charge two months later and then an additional charge a month after that. (Approximately $160). After contacting the Republic several times I was able to speak to a "manager" who agreed to credit me the additional charges. They never did. Then this year I paid the annual premium ($75 more than the previous year) in September and then received notice of an additional charge of $67 for December. When I went to cancel my "services", they informed me that I could not cancel until the end of the month and I would be charged until then.Republic Services Inc

Do not have service with them anymore but repeatedly keep billing me even after closing out my account they owed me money. Intentional fraud or gross incompetence. Majorly inconvenient to try and rectify the fake invoices.Republic Services Inc

If a could would be a zero rating my poor now deceased mother found out she was sick with cancer in February, I started caring for her, the. Wonderful responsible, sweet fair business minded people that had respect for their customers because they were from here!!! Had sold to this company, my mom had two cans from the previous company. I had to fill both cans, never a problem with the other company. I put my moms trash out to have Republic pick it up and actually leave a can full!! When I called them they said she only pays for one can new to me, she never paid for separate cans before!! Then it sat out there for a week after adding it then I had to clean maggots out of it!! After my mom passed away I kept the two cans so I could clean out the house, when I was through I had my brother cancel service next thing I know I get a text that I failed to have the cans out of pick up day per my brother now we are charged another $79.00 I called them the cans were outside and left there for weeks, I was informed the charge was for cancellation of service and picking up the cans per their policy, I asked what would happen if I just kept them then she informed me we would pay $200.00 , I was floored!! I informed her that upon sale of the previous business my mother never agreed to new terms and conditions or policies and never signed a new contract, nor did me or my brother and that the previous owner of ******** sanitation would have never treated people so terrible!! They still have not picked up cans after taking our money months ago!!! Now I am taking my them this week to their office and putting it in their office and demanding our money back!!!!!!!!*** SpeaksRepublic Services Inc
