    Hello BBB,I wanted to bring to your attention a serious issue at Pinnacle Peak Recovery in **********, *******. I was a client there for inpatient treatment from August 1st to August 4th, 2024. During my stay, I was placed in a room that was infested with bed bugs. Despite the facility's assurances that they had taken care of the problem, my roommate and I continued to get bitten.The facility claimed they treated our clothes and moved us to a new room, insisting the issue was resolved. However, after returning home, I found myself dealing with a bed bug infestation, which has affected both me and my boyfriend.It seems the facility was negligent in handling the situation. Even after pest control stated that the infestation was still present, Pinnacle Peak Recovery continued to operate without replacing the mattresses, bedding, or beds. Instead, they merely treated the existing ones and brought them back inside, which did not fully address the issue.This kind of negligence poses a significant health risk to clients and the broader community. I believe this is a matter that requires further investigation and awareness.Thank you for your attention to this serious issue.Best regards, ***********************

    We take the health and safety of our clients very seriously, and we appreciate your bringing this concern to our attention. Upon reviewing your stay at Pinnacle Peak Recovery from 7/29 to 8/1, we would like to address the situation as follows:

    Prior to your arrival, the room in question had been treated for bed bugs by a licensed pest control professional. When you reported additional concerns, we promptly removed and properly heat-treated all personal items and clothing to prevent any further spread. The room and furniture were also treated again. Importantly, the pest control professionals did not recommend discarding the mattresses or bed frames as their treatments were deemed effective.

    We sincerely apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience this may have caused during your stay. Since these treatments, we have not received further complaints about bed bugs from other clients.

    We noticed that your desired resolution is listed as "repair." Could you please clarify what you mean by this? We want to ensure that we fully understand your expectations so that we can address your concerns appropriately.

    We remain committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone at our facility and are open to discussing this matter further to resolve any remaining concerns.
