      I found the home that I was excited about and immediately paid the application and holding fee. I tried their verification steps such as credit, income and identity. However, when I tried to verify my identity using withpersona.com (the verification service they use) by taking a photo of my ID ( Yes, they did not allow me to scan and upload ), the first attempt failed maybe due to the gloss on my Driver's License, so I tried again and it failed again so I tried my Passport and it failed again. Then finally, it told me I can't make any more attempts and that I should contact the organization.So, of course I called Progress Residential and explained the issue. After speaking to the customer service rep, I was told the following:- They cannot send me a new verification link - I have to wait until my application is automatically cancelled - I will have to apply AGAIN with a NEW email address - I will have to PAY the Application Fee again - They cannot accept my identification over email or any other medium I went to withpersona.com to find out what I can do about my verification link and it states that the organization SHOULD be able to send me a new link. So I spoke to the live chat, who also told me the same thing that that the onboarding team would be able to send me a new verification link.So, I called Progress Residential's support again and this time the rep was not as friendly. Made sure to let me know that I called 15 minutes prior and that there is nothing they will do and I will have to pay again and as frustrating the conversation was, he decided to end the call.So, now I got an email that my application was denied and the property is back on the market. How fair is it that a 3rd party tool that they use failed & failed to let me know that my attempts are limited and their hands are tied. They cannot on behalf of a consumer get a new verification link. Waiting to see if I will get a credit ding and lose my money. Terrible onboarding experience.

      I have seen such a unprofessional staff and the horrible process with trying to lease a pace to live! with Progress Residential !!! The staff gave us promises and charged my daughter and almost$800.00 and 2 applications! We gave them everything that asked and they made excuses that they did not receive it!!They knew what they were doing just to get the extra fees. What a scam of a company!I have taken this to another level and hired an attorney! It is such discrimination on older people.They are not capable of leasing Fair Housing!Very Disappointed!!!J. Ett...

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.....!!!! You cannot get a **************** "Person" that works with you. I submitted an "electronic" residence rental application that needed to be corrected & they charged their $335 fee twice that was for the same place. Unable to recoup my $$. Find some other way to lease a home.

      Fines after fines. Charges for every little thing. Charges lawn service bit mowing only and the front only. Triple charges for utilities. This company has lawsuits after law suits. Horrible customer service. This place needs to be shut down. On the phone with them every month disputing something. I will make sure I call the news company to investigate this company and exploit them for all the horrible things they do to everyone. This company pretty much milks you for money. It's absolutely hilarious I had an agent twll me that they only charge me 85 a month for lawn service but only consist of mowing. Not weed wack or edging... so I have to hire another lawn company to do that. What a freaking joke. I can't wait to move out of here. I can probably guess they will make up something to keep my deposit as they do to others.

      No wonder this company has a 1 star rating they are terrible and don't bother to address any issues! We have neighbors who rent from Progress Residential and have many issues with them. We are now having to contact the police because they are now threatening violence on us. They refuse to keep their dogs in their yard, one has already biten my daughter and they bark at our back door constantly. They refuse to take care of their yard, block our mailboxes every day to the point the mail won't deliver and they refuse to adhear to any of our HOA rules. Shows what kind of company they are when they rent to people like that.

      If I can leave 0 stars I would! This company is absolutely atrocious and have no real process in place for handling issues. They'll put everything in fine print so they will not be responsible and you, as the tenant, will be held accountable. I had a serious issue where the sewage was backed up. I heard gurgling noises and before you know it, both bathroom bathtubs and toilets were filled with ***** matter! Not only that it spilled all over the floor! If I didn't put towels down to prevent it from spreading, it would have continue to leak into the main hallway in the house. This happened late at night, and although there is a 24 hour line, there was no sense of urgency! This is a hazardous situation and to still be breathing this stuff in is ridiculous. I didn't see an email for the work order until the morning! A few hours go by and still no call so I call back. I was fortunate to speak with someone who showed empathy and cared about my situation! I mean I couldn't turn on the water, use the bathroom nothing until someone came out to address this issue! So a plumber called 5 minutes later, which I was surprised by because historically, this company is slow with addressing tickets. The plumber came and solved the problem but now I need a water excavation to come clean all the ***** matter still seen in the tubs! I called at around 12pm and a separate work order was opened. I then gave them till 1pm and when I didn't have anyone call I called back after 1pm. I then spoke with a person who was not only rude but didn't even care about the fact that I'm breathing in hazardous waste and this waste spilled all over the floor in this house! How do you even hire someone like that to deal with customer issues, especially when it's an emergency of this nature. There are hundreds of companies in the metro area, it literally only takes 5 minutes to make a phone call. The worst part is I'm still waiting for someone to call and they're closed to handle any requests! Appalling!

      I rented a property from Progress Residential in Henry County ** for a year each month I paid on time as of late October 2023 I was attacked by my ex and had to call the law and filed and *** and decided to move due to not feeling safe and I discussed the matter to Progress Residential which was granted with proof of the *** I was off the premises as of Nov 4 2023 throughout the process I kept them informed. I also followed up day after and was assured that my security deposit would be sent to the forwarding address with 30 days so came December 5th I get a email as if I just moved out. So I call and ** told i can only communicate through email I sent them the ** law 44-7-23 states A tenant may terminate his or her residential rental or lease agreement for real estate effective 30 days after providing the landlord with a written notice of termination when a civil family violence order, civil stalking order, criminal family violence order, or criminal stalking order has been issued. And yet the email stated I owe 3K+ and I sent them that response Thursday morning 12/7/23 and its Saturday 12/9/23 no response. I spoke highly of them as well but after this never again. Its humiliating having to repeat my situation to different people every time I try to get some answers not to mention I just lost my best friend July 16 2023 my mother I have no help no money and I have 3 kids so no Christmas thanks Progress Residential

      Me and my wife and family was applying for a house and we had only 48 hours to get all the information in mind you we do have to work so when we get home we was trying to get everything in and before the 48 hour was up we already had a decision of being denied and didn't even get a chance to put in all of the income and everything else that we had to put in I feel like they took my application fee which was $150 for all three of us try to do the application and the website kept crashing tried to put in the info and that website kept crashing and we do not feel like we had a fair chance to get everything submitted in because the payment of the house is the same payment that I pay at the house that I'm in now so the income was not a problem but was a problem was the website kept crashing and I reached out to them no one email me back I called them a lady answer the phone when it said she didn't know what to do and it's crazy and then I have to pay $150 for three people or three applications plus $250 holding fee and then they send me a letter and tell me it takes 30 days for them to send my holding feedback it didn't take 30 days for them to take it out of my account so I do not expect for it to take 30 days for them to send it back and since we didn't get all of our information in because of the website that's crashing on their end I think that I am old my $150 back for the application fee for the three people that was on the application so this is a warning for anybody who tries to do business with progressive thank you

      My story is shocking, long and like something out of a horror movie. 4 months ago, my 24 year old daughter and I had normal, happy lives. Today, because of this horrible corporation, we are HOMELESSS and EVERYTHING WE OWN IS GONE. We can't enter the home we lived in up until a week ago without Hazamat gear. The pain and suffering was and is intense. They don't care. They knew we were moving into a moldy, rat infested home for $2400 a month just outside *******, *******. ***********************, *************************************************************** are puppets and liars. Since I started telling my story, they took down their social media. I wish I could attach the mold report. The three WORST molds you can find were found. ONE spore of these will fail the test. We had up to ****** spores in a small air sample from my bedroom. My profile: ***************************************** See that beautiful baby? She was exposed from the moment she was born. Please start telling the world about this company. They must be stopped!
