If it was possible to give a zero rating I would! This is the worst company ever to lease from. Since i been renting one of their property I have complain about the same problem over 3 years! The pipes leak and the house gets flooded. Each time i place an order they send someone 2 or 3 days later at which this point i have already cleaned up the mess! On top of that all my stuff including my kids bed is drowning in that dirty as water! The worst part is that they dont even care. They dont fix the problem and they dont reimburse me for the property that is damage. WORSE LEASING COMPANY DONT RENT!!! EVER!

PROGRESS! DO YOU CARE? Please read!! I'm seriously curious to know Progress Residential's **************** even cares about their company's reputation amongst consumers. The company appears to only be concerned with generating revenue on the brows of their customers. The homes are marked "moved in now!" However, it's the luck of the draw. My initial experience was horrible. I paid my holding fee, etc., waited for the home to be "ready!" Went to view the home. Several safety repairs needed before move in. Carpet that was originally ivory was a greyish color from never or improperly cleaned. Local office rep placed work order. I had to wait another 5 days for repairs. Went back after the work order was "completed." Same issues were still present. I was told "Well they said they fixed everything!" "That's all I can do!" Very non-chalant representation! One of the items was a loose stairwell *********! Needless to say I couldn't move there and had to go back out on my own to hurry and find another home. Wound up finding another home much smaller than what I actually needed. But hey life happens so I decided stay a year then move into something that suits the needs of my family. Towards the end of my lease found a home a month and a half early! Home was due to be ready within a month of my lease ending. I began packing. (As of today I'm packed and ready) Went to view the home. The appliances in the home were beyond disgusting! Looked like they belonged in a home that was left abandoned for 20 with no running water and someone homeless or a squatter chose to move in . Not just dirt. (I have pics) I can't stand to view them without getting nauseated. I was told to just clean them. Absolutely horrid! And these homes monthly rental rate was over $2000 per month. So I'm expected to move in, make repairs and replace appliances! I would like to understand who inspects these homes after they have been marked as "move in ready!" Customer ***

Worst customer service ever! When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager refused to allow the agent to transfer the call. Be very cautious about potentially doing business with this company. I lost $200 in application fees through their "automated" system. If I could give them something less than 1 star I would. Renters beware!!!!!

The property I was renting got taken over by Progress and I have had endless issues ever since. I did a home to home transfer and have had sewage issues in the new house. the issues started over the weekend and dragged on into the following week even though it was supposed to be considered an "Emergency". The same issue came up a few weeks later and they sent the same vendor and he did what I'm sure was a quick fix that will last until the NEXT time the issue arises. The first work order they refused to send anyone for cleaning/restoration. Why would I be responsible for cleaning the huge mess that happened?? I got tired of waiting and the gross smells and did the cleanup myself. At move in I had problems with getting the key code and was delayed hours. Which was a big deal because I was renting a moving truck. Separate from this, my original rental home I transferred to my mother and was added as a co-signer. Apparently they had never done this before because they've gotten things confused ever since. My account was closed immediately even though the lease didn't end for another 2 months. Charges were added to my mother's account that didn't make sense like a "smart home fee' for a home they hadn't made smart. I scrambled to make a payment for rent on time when I realized I had to recreate my account and wouldn't be able to pay with my bank account because they'd been erased. Then was charged a late fee although the payment was processed before the 4th. I've called and emailed about the fees multiple times and got no help. Rents due in a few days and I'm almost positive I will get a late fee because I haven't paid those random fees on top of my rent. Overall, customer service is crappy. The people I spoke with in the local office were nice but you cant get them on the phone because everything is sent to a call center.

0 STARS. When people say don't rent from this company, they mean it. We have rented twice prior to Progress. Every rental company seems to have bad reviews, but I've recently been connected with Progress and other rental companies. Progress is by far the worst at communication, customer service, quality, etc. (you name it, Progress is worse). Stick with local agencies. We received weekly texts saying our home would be ready on time. The ready-by-date approaches, and we hear nothing. We contact daily for some information, and not a single person we spoke to knew what was going on. They claimed to put notes in our "case file" yet employees after never saw any notes. They refused to give us contact information for the local agent, so no one knew anything. Finally we receive information... First it was maintenance issues, then it was "waiting on the lockbox," and neither were correct. We drove by the home and the lockbox was on it. Once we FINALLY entered the home, there was a ton of maintenance that had yet to be fixed. Safety issues like the deck being in such poor condition for us and our dogs (nails sticking out, the side of it being completely gone), as well as the fridge leaking water and every shelf and drawer in the fridge broken. We're terrified to even contact maintenance, because they may charge US for the trip out here. So we have fixed everything. We have contacted the local agent (who we have contact with as soon as we signed the lease) regarding the multiple issues we've had, and after the first day, the agent has not responded on multiple platforms of communication. They make it difficult to pay rent and not to mention their constant fees they try to charge, even when you do everything right.Everyday living in the home has been stressful. It feels as though there's a mob boss staring down at us watching our every move. They simply do not care about their renters and they want to take all of your money. DO NOT DO IT!!!!

This ********** company never sent me my first ****. They are affiliated if not probably owned by progress (speculating). I have ALL of my bills set to auto pay so I never log in. I never knew there was a **** due before I received my first one. The bills I receive never show a late amount at all so I never knew. I've never been late or missed any payments other than the one I never got and not anyone from either company has ever reached out before the 3rd time charging me $125. And they won't fix it or do anything. They keep transferring me around and no one EVER calls back.

Company does inaccurate accounting and falsifies ledgers to meet their agenda. I highly recommend keeping all records of proof of payments and charges as they will back date and change them to not take accountability and charge as many fees as possible. I am currently taking them to court regarding the falsified accounting and inaccurate ledger with back dating. Stay away from this company , I honestly wouldnt wish this company on my worst enemy. I am going to be breaking my lease soon to leave them behind me.

Progress has taken my application fees multiple times. When asking to receive and explanation of denial, they continue to give blanket statements. The customer service rep was rude when I asked him for an explanation of the denial. They advertise being more lenient about their criteria as well as being open to all breeds of dogs. Even with having no prior eviction, criminal history and good credit score, they will deny the application just to keep the $50 application and take their time returning the $250 hold fee. They require applicants to pay $250 holding fee even for the houses that are move-in ready. It is very disappointing that this company is taking advantage of people who are looking for a place to live, which is one of the most critical times of someones life.

Horrible customer service. They don't return calls. Unable to make my rent payments because they disabled my account, Unable to make a phone payment, and my checks were declined and never returned to me, no one reached out to inform me my checks were declined. And because I have been unable to reach anyone to speak to, I am behind 2 months of rent payment. Now a notice of eviction was given to me! After more than 5 years of residing in my rental I am being threatened to be evicted, when for the past 2 months I have been trying to pay my rent!! And when I call to try to speak to someone they cannot help me, they say someone will get back to me and they don't. I have sent numerous emails with no response. Horrible service!
