      All I can say is DITTO to literally every other review for this company. PR is by far the WORST organization I've ever dealt with. I refuse to even call them a business bc they have no values,morals, and certainly no integrity! My ******** are in the process of relocating from OH to **. We've been living in separate states for almost a month bc of PR's ridiculous joke of an application process! same experience as everyone else.paid astronomical app fees, proc. fees, holding fees, and even fees to pay the fees! Denied applications w/ out explanation, long hold times, inconsistent answers when u do speak to someone. It's stressful enough relocating to another state, but dealing with this company has almost made it impossible. I could go on and on , but I'm quite certain if you had to look progress residential up on the BBB, then you have had the same experiences as all of us. If you want to rent a house in the ********* ** area, then most likely you will have to deal with this comp. I was dead set against an apartment, but after a month of this torture I finally broke down and applied for an apmnt &was approved in 30 secs. Ironically, the 3rd party credit screening comp. my apartment used Is the exact comp. PR uses......PR intentionally makes life h*** by financially and emotionally sucking the life out of you. I even went to the so called office in *********, 1 person was there that literally told me " no one works here" .to top it off, the day we got approved for the apartment, all of a sudden we start getting calls from PR saying there has been mistakes on our ************ been approved for the houses and "how would we like to move forward" .it's just the next step in their scam to get more money bc if you get approved and choose not to take the prop then you don't get holding fees back. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF DEALING WITH PROGRESS, TRUST WHAT THESE REVIEWS ARE SAYING AND STOP ASAP.! YOU WILL THANK US LATER, I GUARANTEE IT!

      Pipe burst in the ceiling, it took two ************ still a whole till this day more so they came with so many unreal fees , tried to charge me $40 to pay the rent ( said its a one time thing) wouldnt let me resign my lease until I paid the fees & went up $450 for month to month i

      This company bought out our existing leasing company we had and since then, we' ve had 3 main maintenance requests that were ignored, no one ever called or came by, but online it says the request was closed. We have to pay for everything that goes wrong and never have gotten reimbursed. And when they bought our property out they never asked us to supply the current renters insurance policy we had. They have been charging us 2 fees, totalling $35 per month, saying we don't have renters insurance. I have sent them the declaration sheets 8 times since March 28th. After 5 month just got an email saying they can only credit me 1 month of the fee because they only saw the emails today?! So I'm out thousands with this worthless company. I call customer service repeatedly and get placed on hold, only to be hung up on after 10+ minutes. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

      Me and my significant other started applying for properties July 26 through the 28th roughly. We were denied a specific property like 12 times each time we called progress to ask why we were denied we were giving different answers each time and no one seemed to understand why we kept getting denied. Eventually one guy found out that it was due to the new process of reviewing applicants that was brand new to you guys and you guys were still working out kinks in the new system which is probably why we kept getting denied that is what we were told. Eventually after the last time Im getting denied we said forget about it and called progress again waited each time we called more than an hour to get a hold of somebody, we ask for our $250 back and requested that it be sent to us within 15 days because we were disappointed highly in this process and the fact that no one knew anything when it came to why we were getting denied each time. It has now been more than 15 days since we requested this check to come back to us. Come to find out today after waiting another hour to get a hold of somebody and then being transferred to another person which took 20 more minutes, The check was sent to the wrong address even though We did not apply with said address in the beginning. Now I have to wait even longer to get my check and I do not like this at all if I could give this company a zero star rating I would. Every time I call somebody they never seem eager to help me at all in the slightest I asked the lady today not five minutes ago when I would get the check sent out to my correct address she kept saying to me she does not know and my question is how do you not know anything? That seems to be a running thing with everyone that works for this company I am never going to use this company ever again.

      I've been in my home for 5 years, and Progress Residential took over about three months ago. The next thing I know I am being charged for fees I never agreed to in my lease. Sewer gets in my driveway every few months, which Progress Residential has failed to fix. The problem has been ongoing for nearly the last two years. I reported it to the city, and they sent out their people. It turns out Progress Residential is the one responsible for fixing the sewer problem because my house has never been attached to the main line like the other houses on this street. This means I will continually have sewer in my driveway for me and my kids, one who is autistic abd gas asthma. I also had asthma, and had to deal with items in my home molding. I had my home tested for mold, and it took Havenbrook (previous company) nearly 6 months to fix that. I just seen mold on my blinds again. The current leak in my kitchen sink increased my **** $600 for two months. This is 4 times higher considering my **** was originally 108 before the leak happened. It was so bad that my entire kitchen cabinet must be replaced. I was told that I had to have an inspection to see if Progress Residential will owe me credit on my account, which of course they do since I had no idea my kitchen sink was leaking for an excessive amount of time. I called them to find out about credit. The lady took my information about the sink leaking and **** increase today as if I had never reported it almost two weeks ago. Now for the fitst time in MY LIFE, I have a warrant filed on me for an extra $200 when I was waiting for Progress to credit my account. This is unfair and I i noticed another new $40 fee on my account. Every single time they do repairs, it's like they rig it up or bandage it. My lightbill even increased into the hundreds as well. I think it is caused for the same problem it increased the first time, which is poor ventilation system and they never replace my filter besides twice out of 5 years.

      I had been responding with ********* for months, when I eventually found a home that was affordable for myself, I APPLIED! I sent a application and holding fee as requested, at time of application and while responding to any communications that I'm a older single female using a voucher as partial payment of rent. They APPROVE, THEN CANCEL YOUR APPLICATION AND KEEP ALL YOUR MONEY! STAFF BECAME VERY RUDE AND ACCUSED ME OF LYING ABOUT MY SITUATION! I KEPT ALL COMMUNICATION SO I HAVE PROOF, AS ALL COMMUNICATION WAS EMAILED EXCEPT WHEN I CALLED. IT'S JUST A SCAM! NO ONE IS APPROVED, THEY ALWAYS FIND A REASON TO CANCEL!

      I should have read these reviews first, I applied for an house in phoenix I was told i was going to receive an email for more supporting documents, i received an email stating my application was in review, then a minute later my application denied with $339 dollars left my account stating that 250 was for a holding fee, and the ~125 for an application and convenience fee's, i email back asking for clarification, the website just said "declined" with no explanation. I only give them 1 star because i can't go any lower, please to anyone using these people if this is the customer experience withing the first 24 hours of interaction with this company i assure you, any following interactions based on the rest of the reviews will be just as terrible.

      The worst company in this f*** World to deal with it we did the application for a house they send emails telling us that we got approved also calling us to set up the orientation day and everything to take over the property they charges us $400 dollars total for the process and we still waiting for the money we cncel all other application bc we was told that we are approved and wasnt truth someone needs to put this people in place they scamming people with property I have all the proof to confirm that we was approved for the house also they said that they have a new system thats being making all this trouble and thats not my fault they need to take over of they mixtapes not the customer and now I asking myself whos going to paid me for loss of the other application and my time for trust in this company

      Applied for a rental home in *******, ** while under contract for the sale of my home. Buyer pulled out of the sale 1 week before closing. I called progress and asked for a refund of my deposit due to the circumstance to which they replied I had to wait 30 days for a refund. I waited 30+ days to find out I am not getting a refund due to their policy. I asked to speak to a manager and the rep said they might contact me. Their service is horrendous and the attitudes towards prospective renters is astounding. I should not have to maybe get a supervisor. I should be able to speak to one within a reasonable timely matter. Lastly, my buyer pulling out of our sale was not my fault therefore I should be given my deposit back.

      My husband and myself initiated the rental application process with progress residential. I made several calls over a time frame of 5 days to address questions and concerns regarding the application process. First, you put down $50 per applicate which is typical and 250;holding fee. The closing doc, which is a 3rd party verification income that progress residential uses is faulty and misleading. It states clearly on the first page if you would like to submit information with applicate. In my case, my husband since we have joint account. I called the next day to check on update of application bcz I wanted to ensure they had what they needed. I was on hold 45 mins and had to hang up bcz I was working. I attempted to call back later that day and was advised our application was declined bcz my husband didn't submit his bank information from link for closing docs had expired I proceeded to tell them that I followed the instructions which clearly said do you want to complete jointly w ****. Not realizing or being informed that my spouse would need to complete link too even though it's the same bank information. After going back and forth they said we would need to reapply which includes the $100 app fees plus 250 holding fee which by the was with taxes and process fee ******. I was not going to give in kn The person I spoke to reach out to a supervisor who agreed was misleading and agreed to resend links with no additional fees. Good news right? Nope. We followed the links, completing them separately. Within 3:hrs we were declined again. I called and they told me we didn't meet income requirements. Fortunately they do send a copy of the income report they compile based on the income verification from closing docs which uploads your recurring deposits. The report did not upload our income at all. I called and emailed..with no resolution or being passed around. I was even told that the system sometimes does upload joint bank information. Scam!

      Further, I reached out to the closing doc team, on boarding and was placed on hold bcz they agreed it did not up our bank info tegelecting paychecks. I was then disconnected. I called back requesting a supervisor. Of course you can't speak to a supervisor directly... after 5 calls to get a supervisor to call me. One did but all I got was this is ******** and line got disconnected. No one even attempted to call back. I called again and got same run around. So I emailed the closing docs directly. They put in a ticket to research it...later I got an automated email stating resolved. Nothing was even done. Needless to say...I gave up. Still waiting on refund of 250. I truly feel it's a scam. Now the house is still available and price was dropped
