      On November 11, I visited Discount Tire to have all four tires replaced. Upon getting my vehicle back, I noticed it was bouncing while driving. I called the store, then returned to be told that a bent wheel might be causing the issue. Reluctantly, I paid for new wheels, with the assurance of a refund if the problem persisted. However, even with the new wheels, the bouncing continued. They refunded me and reinstalled my original wheels. Seeking further opinions, two mechanics informed me that the front shocks and struts were damaged, a condition typically seen in vehicles subjected to sudden drops, not just due to age. The store claims the vehicle's age is the issue, but the mechanics disagree, citing the unusual nature of the damage.

      I placed an online appointment with Discount Tire, ************************************************** ******, **** for **** hrs on 11-10-2023. The salesperson stated that my vehicle (**** *** 330xi) was next up for service because I had an appointment. However, while seated in the store I noticed at ********************************* the parking lot. And, I noticed beforehand that three other vehicles had been driven into their garage before my vehicle. I informed the store supervisor (**** or ****?) that my appointment was at **** hrs. I stated that I made the appointment so I wouldn't have to wait 1.5 hours for my vehicle to be serviced like others were being told in the store. He stated that only 30 minutes had passed. He made no apologies or explanations for my wasted time. I'm a Combat Disabled Veteran with 23 years of service (and it's Veterans Day!) and I explained I had other appointments within an hour that day. I asked why they offered to take appointments when the wait time was the same as someone walking in without an appointment. No answer. I asked for my keys and a full refund from the Supervisor. I received the refund and nothing but smiles from them!! He handed me everything and said, "Here ya go. Have a nice day!" He didn't seem to care one bit; just smiled at me!I've been going to that Discount Tire garage for over 20 years and have received excellent service with and without an appointment. However, today's experience has put a very bad taste in my mouth. They didn't seem to care about my time or my patronage. They have now lost a customer! I then drove to ************************* who got me into their garage within 15 minutes - without an appointment I might add!!

      Received tire repair services at Discount Tire ********** ************ are included with warranty of tires with rotation etc During the service the rotation was unexpected and weights were applied damaging my wheels. When I informed management and requested replacement the response was, I dont think so brotha not if it was in the lines of normal service. I walked the technician and manager through my expectations for my vehicle after i notified them of the problems.- Management recommended a repair location that I could take care of the damage to my wheels and they might be able to help me out on the repair, but not accept accountability by applying the weights and stated I need to inform them of any special request. Ive been a loyal customer with ********************** for many years and that specific store location since I retired from the military and returned home in 2018.This was a highly discouraging encounter as the damages were suggested i handle personally when previous issues were resolved by management without hesitation. Alcoa Dually wheels are approximately $600 each and that was the condition of my wheels. A new set of 6 tires cost me $2500 ************************** cost nothing, but i can be sold new product without consideration for the quality of my property.

      On November 8th, I went in to Discount Tire in ******** **.to have a new tire put on that I had ordered a couple of days prior . It was almost closing time and getting dark when I arrived . So once they were finished with the tire the young man put the tire in the trunk of the car I was driving while I inside paying for it, so I didnt see the tire close up until I arrived home and at that point I noticed the edge of the rim in several spots where scratched and the chrome valve stem was replaced with a plastic gray one. So I called the next day to talk to someone about this and I was told to come in to formally file a complaint . So on the 10th I left work early to take the care of this matter . But when the store manager, ***************************** came from the back ; he had an attitude, very nonchalant, wouldnt have a conversation with me. He just walked past me took a quick glance and made a comment as he walked away and went right back to the back of the store . This is very disappointing and unexpected because I have had great service here on several occasions but I have always dealt with an associate instead of the manager.

      On October 5 2023, I went to discount tire in **********, ***** to get 3 of my tires replaced. 1 tire had been replaced recently,, so I was replacing the others to have matching tires. (It is important to note that I drove on this set of tires for over three years before this visit to Discount Tire) As the work was being done, an employee of the store approached me and informed me that they had to break one of the lug nuts on the front right tire to remove it. He left and came back several minutes later and informed me that they were unable to get the tire off after partially un-tightening the other lug nuts. The employee informed me that they were going to re-tighten the lug nuts and that the car would be safe to drive with four out of five lug nuts. I took him at his word left for my 4 hour trip to ***********. While driving, I noticed a sound coming from the front of my vehicle. I did not know what was making the sound so I kept driving. I noticed that my car was shaking and I attributed this to having different levels of tread on one tire. As I approached **** the sound got worse, and the shaking became more pronounced, I began to have trouble steering the car so I pulled over for the night and called triple A to take me to the nearest discount tire in the morning. My car was taken to the discount tire in **** where I was informed that my two of my lug nuts had come loose and two had cross hatched. I spoke with ***** at the ********** location on the phone several times that day. He assured me on several occasions that Discount would pay for the damages done to my car and my hotel bill for the night I was stranded. The car was sent to a mechanic recommended by discount and fixed. The total bill was $525.11 ********* bill was ******. The claim was sent to discounts corporate office and handled by *********************. **** denied the claim and offered $300 dollars as a concession offer to close the claim. I denied this offer. Discount acted in bad faith.

      On August 18, 2023 I purchased four brand new tires from discount tire with warranties. I paid a total of $602.18 for all four tires and yesterday I had a blowout on one of those new tires where it look like the tire had exploded. The mileage on the vehicle when I purchase the tires was ******* when the blow out happened the mileage on the vehicle was ******* I had only driven the tires ****** miles before this blowout. They said I had the warranty so they will replace it but they made me buy another warranty. This tire was clearly defective so I dont see why I should have to pay for an extra warranty seeing as I was given a defective product, I paid for the warranty just to get out of there because I was in a rush. What if something worse would have happen. what if I were killed or killed somebody else because of the tire, Im asking for all of my tires to be looked at, and if this has something to do with the tire brand and they fully know that these tires blowout they need to replace all my tires with the Better brand at the very minimum it needs to be know that these tires are defective. I would like my money back for my warranty and should something happen similar to any of the other tires or the one I got replaced. I want them all replaced with a different brand on them, this blowout was on the highway. I had to pull over five lanes avoid getting hit just to deal with the situation.       Started using discount tire after I had a shoulder injury and couldnt rotate my own tires. Eventually it healed up and needed to remove a tire to replace a bad wheel hub. Strange because they were under two years old and the previous hubs lasted 8 years. Turns out discount left out the rings that center my wheels onto the hub. I call and get them replaced and make a note that theyve been beating up my wheels using chrome sockets instead of the correct lug nut sockets and its chipping my wheels. I also order tires at this point and they tell me they will make sure they do a better job and want to keep me as a customer. So $2k for 4 tires with warranty no discount for previously chipping up my wheelsDont know why but they scratched the face of the wheel and the chips were even worse. Its like they were mad I brought it to their attention. Inspecting the inside its like they intentionally scuffed them up trying to mount them or had little to no care. I think it would be fair to Atleast replace the damaged wheels since I have already changed the hub that failed on the side they left the ring off.

      On 10/24/23, my boyfriend and I took my car to Americas Tires to replace the back tires. It was a bit of a wait, so we left and returned a few hours later. Upon return, my front bumper was hanging off. We went back inside and notified the employee who helped us. The employee came out with us, looked, then proceeded to try to push the bumper on. We asked how it happened and he said he didnt know. We said it wasnt like this when we dropped it off and he agreed that it wasnt, then went to get the employee who drove it into the parking spot. The employee came over and said they didnt know what happened either. We asked for a manager. The manager came over and tried to say it was from a car wash. I told the manager that it has been over a month or so since it was washed and the bumper was fine up when we dropped the car off. Then the manager said he isnt sure what happened. We asked who do we contact because we should not have to pay for their damage. He said he would file a claim and someone would reach out in 48 hours. A claims agent reached out and asked for an estimate and photos. I sent the photos and I took it to an auto body shop (Caliber Collision) for the estimate. Now, they are denying the claim. The bumper was in place when I dropped it off and even their employee confirmed that the bumper was fine upon drop off.

      Made an appointment 11/2/2023 8:30 AM to have my winter tires installed. The employee followed me out to my car to check the tread on my winter tires. The tires are wrapped in a white plastic knotted bag. The tires were sitting in my garage since 4/22/2023. One tire was a 2015 ********* which was threadbare.I went home and got my receipts to prove I never had a ******** tire. I told them mistakes happen and that they should replace the tire which they agreed to. I told them not to tie a knot in the summer tires so I could check that they gave me back the correct summer tires. I noticed the front drivers side tire was the ******** 2015 threadbare tire.I took a picture and told them was happened. They refunded the $88 to switch out the summer tires and gave me a $100 credit for the future.I am never going back to Discount Tires. It is unsafe to do business with them. I just want others to know what is happening there.

      I appreciate the correspondence from the manager of Discount Tires and the offer for new set of Blizzard tires as well as a new set of my choosing.

       

       I stand by my original statement not to do business with Discount Tires. I won't be bought to stay silent. I want upper management to know what is happening and the public as well.

       

      I know it is hard to train employees and there might be a disconnect between the employees working in the lobby and the employees working in the bay. This is a busy time of year but the room for error can result in customers and the general public that drive during the winter in Colorado to be affected, resulting in an accident.

      Last April which wasn't a busy time of year I might add resulted in me being given a tire that wasn't mine, a 2015 threadbare ******** winter tire. The white bags aren't transparent, and I just assumed that everything was fine. 

      I hope that my complaint will result in Discount Tire implementing changes to fix their quality control.

      One mistake is fine but two in one visit is too much!

We were at the location at 5:15 pm on 10/30/23 he was working the line outside ! First and foremost rude! We were trying to get air in hour tires due to the colder weather! Trying to get to the hospital. He said his people had been out there since 7am ! I said Sir your establishment is open till 6:00 pm he only had 3 cars waiting and refused to service us! Simply said were close !!!!!I hope he gets reprimanded because my next move is writing the *** and ask was this there code of ethics. Im so disappointed in the way we were treated ! Stated he was the manager ! I think he was ready to go home more than his workers!
