    The pictures attached will show you everything. *** and Half Price Auto are trying to scam me. Please reach out if you would like more info. I don't believe I could fit the entire story in ***** characters.

    We are prepared to help the customer, Yachin **** *******, with their vehicle concerns. However, this repair was fully paid to Half Price Auto Repair. The customer paid us a parts deposit initially, however, we transferred all funds to Half Price Auto Repair. Moreover the customer's ********************** invoice was completed with Half Price Auto repair alone.

    In order for us to take responsibility for this repair we are requesting that Half Price Auto Repair transfer us the cost of the repair. We have reached out to Half Price Auto Repair and they claim they are unable to replicate the concern. If we do not receive the funds for the initial repair then it is not possible for us to assume liability for the repair or any warranties.

    We are not pointing fingers at anyone and we only wish for the customer to be taken care of as quickly as possible. If Half Price Auto Repair is not able to transfer the cost of the repair to us then we request to be removed from this complaint.

    Purchased vehicle from mechanic. Had to return to him for repairs he did not remedy before selling to me. Delivered vehicle to mechanic on 10/21/24 and mechanic still has not returned ownership of vehicle back to me. He has also not provided any documentation of what is being done to the vehicle or where it's location currently is. I will attach an explanation of events that lead up to this point.

    On Friday November 8th of 2024 my car was dropped off for repair at TMC Auto Repair in anticipation for my appointment for November 11th of 2024 at 9:00 am. This was to be for servicing on my 2008 ***** IS 250. My partner reached out to the repair shop via **** prior to the appointment and had explained the issues which the mechanic told us were due to a faulty alternator. I was quoted the amount of $699 for this service. On the day of the appointment *** Auto notified us that the vehicle would be ready around 4pm and was being washed. I arrived around 4:15 and waited for the receptionist who told me the car was taken for a car wash and they would be back in about 5 minutes. I had not agreed for my car to be taken off site for the car wash. Being under the impression that my car was fixed I decided not to press further on the fact that I had not agreed for my vehicle to be taken off site and driven around. Being under the impression my car was nearby I paid the total for the repair which was $699. At this time they sent a text that service was complete but it wasnt. As I was waiting for my car to get back the receptionist walks in and tells me that my car had broken down on the way back from the car wash and that the cause was a bad battery and that they would have to replace it for an additional $220. They then told me the battery had blown the new alternator which would need to be replaced. They told me that was going to take an additional hour so I decided to go home and come back once my car was ready. They notified me that once it was running the battery was internally shorted caused the fuse to blow. They are charging me a total of $1,355.57 for the service not including the $699 I paid. It does not seem right to have to pay more due to the issues arising to their negligence in not checking the battery before the car was taken on the road. I had not given my permission for them to drive my car and just want them to own their negligence and fix my car.

    Vehicle ( ***** is250) was towed into tmc 11-11-24. Tested alternator and found the it was only charging at 12.2. Replaced alternator and tested system prior to final test drive and car wash which every vehicle gets and found charging system charging at 14.7. Part of our post repair check out is to test drive the vehicle for 10 miles and go through a car wash. Again every car gets it and it ensures our quality.  ( client would have broke down if we did not test drive) . As the tech left the shop the vehicle Stalled and would not restart, after using an approved jump box to get the vehicle back to the shop we found the battery to be discharged,  replaced the battery and vehicle runs but only charging at 12.2.  After further inspection the vehicle was found to have an alternator fuse blown. Its part of a fuse block as we advised the client. We did inspect the woring fron the battery to the alternator and alternator to the fuse and found bo visavle issues present. We already gave the client military discounts and cannot offer more discounts. Sorry for the inconvenience but this was not a tmc tech issue as the vehicle was tested before it left and was charging at 14.7.
