      My 19 year old daughter signed up to lease a small storage unit for the summers months (inbetween school sessions). The whole process of dealing with American Self Storage at *** * ********** ****** ******* ** ***** has horrible and they over charged her.

      * During the signup phase, American Self Storage required insurance for her items. Within 10 minutes, we had a COI issued and gave this to the Manager James. They claimed the contract was signed and that they would charge insurance for the first month. We said ok for one month

      * They charge us insurance for June, which we had submitted and resubmitted June 3rd (when we received the invoice)

      * They accepted our credit card as payment. However, they miskeyed the card and were charged late fees. After numerous emails and calls, we received one credit back

      * They continue to charge us for insurance even though we provided proof.

      We have sent multiple emails and have called several times about this. It is not really the money issue of $41.00, it is the principle. This seems to be a profit center for them and they refused to refund us back despite all the proof sent it.

      This is a very unethical business that prayed on my daughter.
