    Tuesday May 24, 2022, I contacted **** based upon recommendation from ******, my handyman, who has had **** clean carpets for many years. **** works for his mother who owns the carpet cleaning company.

    **** and I made an appointment for Friday, May 27, 2022. I am on disability and the day before, my IHSS worker and I moved all necessary items, and she moved furniture, in preparation for **** to come steam clean the living room, one bedroom and the entry area, only, of the second bedroom. **** did a great job!!! I was very happy!! The next morning, I noticed that he had missed a spot treatment right where the living room carpet starts after the tile entryway. I took a photo and texted it to him at 3:44pm Saturday, May 28.

    Saturday, June 1, he texted: “Hey sorry I’m out of town. I’ll text you over the weekend and I’ll come hit that spot.”

    I never heard from him. I texted that Thursday and Sunday.

    Monday, June 13, he texted: “Hey sorry I’ll come out early next week and hit that for you. ??”

    I never heard from him. His website reads: “OUR GUARANTEE: 
    At ACT Carpet we strongly believe in hospitality. We are always striving to bring the best customer service to Bakersfield CA & Surrounding Areas. We strive for perfection, and complete customer satisfaction. If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with the job done, simply give us a call and we will come back out free of charge to re-clean any areas of concern.”

    My handyman has contacted him on my behalf, as well. To no avail. Now, it is the end of August! I have to have my home appraised ASAP in order to do a reverse mortgage. I just want the one spot treated that is right in the front as I walk in to the living room. Thank you for any help you can give.
