I used the Ticket Master website two months in advance to purchase 5th row tickets to A Magical Cirque Christmas for December 29th. I received an email that the tickets would be provided on December 27th, which did occur. I paid $***+ for the 5th row seating because MY WIFE HAS VISSION PROBLEMS AND CANNOT SEE VERY FAR. When we arrived, the seats were on the second to last row of the auditorium. We stayed for 20 minutes and had to leave as MY WIFE COULDN'T SEE THE ****** When I got home, I sent an email to TicketMaster demanding a refund. I've spend two days corresponding and TicketMaster states they are not responsible. My reply is the customer (me) selected seats using the Ticket Master website, where seats were selected. Ticket Master did a "Bait and Switch". I am extremely angry for being stolen from by Ticket Master.Ticketmaster Corp

I see the tickets you purchased were transferred to you and not purchased from ticketmaster. Ticketmaster did not sell tickets to you hence did not provide you any seating description. Sorry but we are unable to assist. Please reach out to your point of purchase.

Dain is incorrect. Ticket Master shows that I purchased the tickets through their website. Order # XX-XXXXX/DL2 I selected seats that were not provided. I paid $300 for seats on the fifth row and given seats at the back of the theater that probably cost $50. I was stolen from.
I work in IT building websites. Nowhere during the purchase process did a message state that seat selection is not the tickets that the customer will receive. If I purchase airlines tickets for Los Angeles, California and received tickets to New York City, then that would be fraud. This is what Ticket Master has done. Go re-read my original complaint. I selected fifth row because my wife has vision problems. I did not select seats at the back of the theater.

My order number with ticket Master is ************. I've been going back and forth with ticket master for the past 3 days about canceling my tickets and getting a refund. I understand they have policies, unfortunately half of my family has been hit with ***** and now we're unable to go. I even tried asking to refund the tickets for atleast the ones that can't make it and unfortunately have had no help what so ever. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the representative informed me that it usually takes 3 to 5 business days and the event is tonight 12/29. This is terrible customer service and I will never do business again through ticket Master. I hope this can reach someone who is able to assist meTicketmaster Corp

I am sorry you were unable to attend. This was just over by the BBB. I am sorry but the event organizer did not approve refunds for the event. I see we took a loss and paid you for a single ticket on January 2.

Awful customer service - had purchased tickets, ******** not realizing I had got them for New Year's Eve (which we already have plans for and can't cancel), so I got in touch with their "live chat" (because phone support is not available) and haven't heard anything back since yesterday at 7:38AM... all I wanted to do was exchange them for the night before (this Friday), and they said it wouldn't be a problem - I'd have to pay the price difference and a $** exchange fee per ticket - fine. Was going to spend MORE money with them, but their customer service reps are comepletepy useless. So I'm assuming I'm not going to hear back, seeing as I've messaged 5 times since yesterday morning trying to get any sort of response as to how I can go about paying for the new tickets... Love spending $***+ for an event I can't make it to, and love that TicketMaster makes it so easy to do with their ******* "customer service". I bought Vinkings tickets for Dec. 24, 2022 with no insurance for $****. and couldn't go. I tried to sell them for a week with the help of a virtual agent then a live agent online. I did everything I was told and kept getting an ERROR message from the site. I called them over and over and got no help at all and one lady was just beyond nasty to me. Come to find out Ticketmaster sells second hand tickets and I'm out $****. Merry Christmas to me!Ticketmaster Corp

As someone who had all kinds of boosts and presale codes, I truly feel TicketMaster knowingly abused its power over the multibillion-dollar live music industry. After being advised boosts would move ** to the front of the line and then waiting for hours while others without boosts were able to get in and purchase up all of the tickets, we were clearly misled. Those tickets were then immediately put on resale for an exorbitant amount of money. I received multiple errors when trying to check out and no time to read any fine print when trying to do so (as tickets were pulled from my cart in seconds). I was also advised by multiple agents no more tickets were available, so I panic purchased some second hand , at an insane amount for a show I can't go to. Now they are telling me I am not eligible for the new fan sale because my friends tickets are in my account- (where did these tickets come from, I was advised there were NONE left before I purchased second hand). I am appalled that they are still legally allowed to operate a monopoly like this.Ticketmaster Corp

Nightmare. I had to sell 2 tickets because they wouldnt change venue time. Once you sell them they ask you to verify 2 small deposits which I did. Week later no money. So when I call somehow call is directed to some indian scam company who gives you a story that due to them losing 15 k to being hacked they have new policy of you doing a zelle friends family for 197 that they swear will never be taken out to verify bank acct. Of course money is. Dont go near these peopleTicketmaster Corp

Ticketmaster refused to give my refund of $290 for a cancelled Rage Against The Machine concert. I kept pleading to the customer service chat rep (no phone customer service was available) that I purchased the tickets in June 2020 from a bank account that I already closed. Ticketmaster claimed that they deposited the refund to that closed bank account. That closed bank account, **** of America, told me that it is not possible to deposit a refund to a closed account. I told ********************** this info and they keep giving me useless and scripted responses that does not help such as a reference number that does not prove anything. I replied to the customer service rep thru chat that I can provide them my current bank account number and current routing number, and my reply was padded away by another useless and scripted and unhelpful response. I can even provide the account number of the tickets and the supposed date and city of the cancelled concert. I have been dealing with Ticketmaster for over 8 weeks. Ticketmaster stole money from me. I am please asking Ticketmaster to give my refund of $290.Ticketmaster Corp

We're sorry to hear that you haven't received your refund. According to our records, we checked with our Accounting department to see if your funds were returned to us by the bank but they were not. We provided you with an ARN Reference number in November, which means the bank accepted the funds. I honestly never got the refund. The closed bank account that you sent it to; that bank also confirmed to me that it's not possible to deposit money to a closed account. I've repeatedly told this to your Ticketmaster chat ******* many times. I keep repeating myself to you that I've lost count. Please give me my $290 refund for the cancelled concert. Your company is putting me thru **** just to get my refund back. Your record does not mean anything if I, the customer, never got the refund. Your company keeps repeating the same useless response that does not solve the customer's issue. I never got the refund and the bank, Bank Of America, that you sent it to told me that they never got it too because the bank account was already closed when you 'sent' it. Your company does not care at all and all you care about is typing scripted and useless response that are repeatetive. Ticketmaster is an unethical company that needs to be held accountable from their unethical business practices. Not only do they have incompetent customer *******, they also will make sure you go thru **** just to get your refund back; and I'm sure same thing with other issues you would have with Ticketmaster would be miserable too. Go to reddit and all other reviews elsewhere online including this site, and that's enough to tell you Ticketmaster is a criminal company, and deserves maximum punishment from the writing of the law. 1 starI purchased tickets to a concert, but was unable to go due to getting COVID. I emailed Ticketmaster 3 days before the concert to inform them and I received no response. Then I utilized the chat feature and every agent told me there's nothing I could do or offered non-helpful solutions that I could do. They purposely don't have an accessible customer service on their website, which I believe is an ADA ********** As a last resort, since no customer service rep would refund my purchase, I disputed the charge on my credit card. This incident occurred in October 2022. Fast forward to yesterday, I tried to purchase ************************* tickets and I couldn't because they flagged my account because I disputed the charge on my credit card. They are holding my purchasing privileges ****** until I drop the dispute. Meanwhile, my credit card company can't get into touch with Ticketmaster to resolve dispute.
Ticketmaster has a monopoly and they get away with deceptive and unethical business practices all the time. They violate accessibility and have no integrity. They steal people's money and are negligent. They need to be regulated and be held accountable for their deceptive, unethical and criminal ways.Review fromDevra S.

I bought tickets from Ticketmaster to see To Kill a Mockingbird on Oct. ** XXXX. I ordered two tickets for the matinee and then saved the confirming email. Two days before showtime I went to get my tickets and they had the evening show which we were not able to attend. I tried to contact someone to see if they could change the times, but there was no way to contact anyone. I decided to use the Sell Tickets option and went through the process. The tickets never sold, no one ever contacted me and I was out a lot of money. If I had known they hadn't sold I could have given them away or sold myself. Then I decided to file a complaint. There is no email, no phone number just an address. I wrote them a letter explaining all of this and never heard a single thing back. Terrible service, terrible company. I am out well over $200 only because they gave me the wrong tickets and wouldn't right a wrong.Ticketmaster Corp

On Dec 16,22 I purchased two tickets from ticket-master for the ************************* concert in March of 2023 in Buffalo. The price was just over $500. Upon check out, there was no markers of any kind indicating my payment on my **** was in ** funds. When I looked at my **** it was over $700 with ****** exchange. I contact the venue ** ******* in attempt to return the cost of the tickets on my **** and re-purchase the same tickets on my ** card to avoid the costly exchange rates. They were unable to help me. I contacted Ticketmaster customers service explain what happen, pointed out the fact there was no markers indicating I would be billed in ** funds, for that reason alone they should of assist me by returning the purchase on my ******** credit card, the re-purchase the same tickets on my **. ****. They refuse to help me. Stating; " There are no refunds"offered others alternatives that were not beneficial to my issue. I wish there was a government regulatory body that could step in to correct such bad faith business practices with the consumers! THERE NEEDS BE AN OVER HAUL OF BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES FOR TICKET MASTER. THERE MONOPOLY OF SELLING TICKETS HAS CAUSED ARROGANCE OF HUGE PROPORTION, THAT HURTS THE PUBLIC IN MOST CASES FINANCIAL, CAUSING NO RECOURSE FOR COMPENSATION.
