If I could leave less than 1 star, I absolutely would, but I have to at least select one. I will start with my most recent debacle, the *********************** Era's Tour. I waited over 9 hours for tickets and paid more than $300 for ticket fees alone. Ticket fees are based on how good your seat is. So, why am I paying them more than I make in a work day to wait in line longer than I work in a day? It's not for customer service or faster processors. Unless you buy from them or re-sale sites, there are no other options.Ticketmaster Corp

I sold my tickets on Ticketmaster on 11/4/2022 and on 11/9/2022 i received to small deposits into my checking acct. to verify my acct. it is 11/23/2022 No deposit of the sale of my tickets and there is no where on the website where i can write to anyone. When I finally found a number to call they said I had to go to a 3rd party store and by a gift card to put the money on?!!! Went to call the number back the next day and it continues to drop me all day long. All I want is my money and they are giving me the run around. I feel this company is corrupt!!!Ticketmaster Corp

I'm so disappointed and upset at this horrible company. I purchased two official platinum tickets from Ticketmaster (***** in total). Each ticket is set as 371$ with a service, exchange, and transaction fee. As they propagated, "Ticketmaster's Official Platinum enables market-based pricing for live event tickets. The goal is to give fans fair and safe access to the best tickets." My seats 1 and 2 are on Floor C1 section row 4. But within 12 hours of my purchase, I saw they suddenly released more Official Platinum seats with a better location and much lower price than mine. Seats on Floor C5 row 1 have a cost of 323$, which are much lower than the price I was charged. This is not a fair price and there is no supply and demand determined market price because Ticketmaster is a monopoly and is the only platform that is authorized to sell tickets and they just arbitrarily set the price as they like. I asked for a refund but they told me they can't do a price match and couldn't exchange my tickets for lesser-value seats, which obviously have a better location. It's just insane that such a company could exist!!!! NEVER purchase any TICKETS on their platform!!!!!!!!Ticketmaster Corp

Hello,
We're sorry for the frustration. Regretfully, we do not set the ticket prices or decide what tickets get released when. We are contracted out to sell tickets on behalf of the event organizers. Please note, that during high-demand sales, tickets are available first-come, first-served, and not guaranteed. In some instances, events on our platform may have tickets that are "market-priced," so ticket and fee prices may adjust over time based on demand. This is similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold and is commonly referred to as "Dynamic Pricing." The face value price (also known as the established price or base ticket price) is determined by our clients. In many circumstances, face value prices are set at the time of the initial on-sale and stay the same until the event but prices can, and often are, adjusted up or down over time. In either case, Ticketmaster collects the face value price and remits it to our clients. -MeredithReview fromRachel J

I was sent a presale code for the *********************** eras tour. Waited 2 hours to get through the queue ***the first time***, just to be told my code is invalid. I tried multiple times to use the code and it didn't work. then I reset and went back to the beginning of the queue and waited another 2 hours and as soon as I got to the end of the queue it crashed. then I went back again and waited another 2 hours once again just to be told when I went to check out that I wasn't signed in (I was and I checked) and it wouldn't let me sign in unless I left the ticket room. ONCE AGAIN I went back to the beginning of the queue once again and waited another 4 hours to try and get in. and by that time the tickets were all sold out. overall this was a 10-hour ordeal that should have maybe taken an hour or two and worked the first time. I'm sure I'll get some copy and paste response to this about how "sorry" they are, but it shouldn't happen in the first place and I know for a fact they aren't sorry that it did because there's already tickets reselling for $50,000 or more on resale sites.Ticketmaster Corp

Hello,
We are sorry to hear that you were unable to purchase tickets for the Taylor Swift tour. The demand for this sale did exceed the number of tickets that we had available for sale. Tickets are always based on availability, demand, and are not guaranteed. Unfortunately, we do not have any additional inventory to offer at this time. -MeredithReview fromJoshua O

Ticketmaster has always dragged fans through the dirt with their arbitrary fees but their handling of *************************** tour with their "Verified Fan presale" which was advertised as a way to protect fans against bots and scalpers who purchase tickets and resell them at astronomical ********* While fans sat helpless after being waitlisted by the program, secondary resale sites like stubhub quickly offered tickets for A MINIMUM of $500. This SNAFU is just another reason why Ticketmaster is killing the live music industry. To make matters worse, the only comment from Ticketmaster is a hollow "we're sorry and we'll do better" apology. The only proper recourse that would compensate for their abuse of power would be to purchase back every unsold ticket posted on the secondary resale sites and offer them, at original face value, to the customers that were snubbed by the "Verified Fan" program.Ticketmaster Corp

1 starI understand the challenges of running a business and a call center. However, in the case of Ticketmaster(TM)....the incompetence is proceaduralized.
Here is my scenario:
I write this review following hours of phone calls and messages to TM. I purchased tickets on TMs site for the ************************* concert on 11/19/22 (It's a few hours before this concern starts at the time of writing this). My issue is that my tickets are listed in the App as "Listing Pending" and on the mobile web says "Oops something went wrong". It's never presents the bar code for entry for me to get inot the show. It only lists the order number (which has no use for entry).
I spoke with ************************ and others. Could never get the same person back. I chatted with ********************************, and others. They rotated new names in an out of the conversation fluidly. I went through all their troubleshooting steps on their App, using the mobile web, and on desktop. I tried turning off Wifi and use LTE. Loggin out, logging in, etc. I tried another mobile device all together. I attempted all these steps multiple times and others as instructed too.
On my final call with ****** this afternoon (I've given up) he asked me about all the troubleshooting steps I did. I responded and he quickly realized he had no further suggestions. So his response was...."it looks fine on my side. Sorry it's your problem". He then told me that they will have tickets at will call; yet a ******* rep I spoke with earlier told me this was a digital entry ONLY show and will call is not available. Not taking a huge expensive trip to *** to get turned away.
In the end I'm disputing with my CC company. TM has very little care for the "Fans", the escalation process is terrible, and the managers hide behind the front line ******* people. I wish I could post a picture of what I see on BBB so their managers could see it and maybe fix it as managers don't wants to talk and learn.Review fromNoah V

I was trying to get tickets for the Verified Fan presale for the *********************** tour. When I got in the queue to buy tickets I waited over 5 hours to buy tickets and when I got to buying tickets I was told that my presale code was not valid and then when I finally got in all of the tickets were sold out. The same thing happened for *********** presale. I was planning on buying tickets during the general sale and then it was canceled less than 24 hours before it was set to happen. I am incredibly disappointed with ticketmaster due to the long wait times, the time I had to take off of work and most importantly the fact that *************** who resell tickets for over 10 thousand dollars were allowed at the front of the line for the verified fan presale when I who had a boost to buy tickets was left with no tickets.Ticketmaster Corp

We waited for hours for the *********** Presale for ******************. Got in shortly after the sale started and spent over 30 minutes clicking on various seats to purchase with no luck. The system was slow and we were unable to compete with the BOTs that were clearly buying tickets. I started writing down the seats while my partner tried to purchase just to find them a few minutes later on StubHub for double triple the price.Ticketmaster Corp
