As of April 22, 2025 we have been unable to determine that this company is licensed by the Contractor's State License Board even though they are performing services that would require such licensing. It is illegal for an unlicensed person to perform contracting work on any project valued at $1,000 or more in combined labor and material costs.
On March 13, 2025 we sent requests to our contact on file and asked the business to provide us with their licensing information. Unfortunately, we did not hear back from the company after multiple contacts.

On March 13, 2025, BBB Serving Los Angeles and Silicon Valley requested that the business substantiate, modify, or discontinue claims on the company's website, www.sunstudios.com.
In particular, BBB requested substantiation for “award winning” claims, “best” claims, their partnership with One Tree Planted, and client testimonials. BBB also noted that the business advertises warranty claims, “satisfaction guarantee” claims, and references “installation” claims while not being licensed with the California Contractors State License Board.
