Pinnacle called me for a debt I later verified I owed, but I did not recognize the company. When I asked who they were the gentleman said they were a servicing company and demanded I identify myself. I asked what a servicing company is and he said he could only tell me if I identified myself. Finding this suspicious I declined and asked again. He started talking over me and then accused me of being hosting (which I wasn't). He disconnected the call. I did a web search and identified what the company was and called back and spoke with a lady who was much more professional. She told me she couldn't legally say what a servicing company was, but since I had identified the company online I identified myself and independently verified the debt which I Independently verified I owed. I paid it since I owed it. But, I asked the lady why she couldn't identify what her company was. She said it was a federal law. This is not a law. I verified that debt collectors must identify themselves as debt collectors up front. This company failed to do so then lied and said they weren't allowed to by law. If they had simply followed the law and properly identified themselves, they would have made things a lot easier and shown themselves to be a lot more ethical. I owed the money and paid it and I would have done so much quickly if they had been straightforward. Instead they wanted to play illegal games and make things harder on everyone.

I had moved to a new state, just found out I was going to have a baby, starting a new job after being unemployed for several months, and they called me at my new job. I have no idea how they found my work number but the man was obnoxious, rude and very personal. I told him my predicament and he asked me where the father of my child was and why doesn't he give me money. Mind you, I never said I was single or having this child alone. On top of everything I didn't even owe the money but he didn't care and argued with me that it wasn't the point. Horrible company that they should hire such people with no conscience. I ended up contacting the folks who hired them and worked it out, even though they threaten you not to.My advice, do your homework before you get entangled with them.

I called to resolve a collection from my timeshare Bluegreen. I was hospitalized last ******** have been in recovery & unable to work. I contacted BG to let them know but they didnt care. After 30 days they sent my account to this collection agency for the maintenance dues. I called with the intention to pay bill or set up a payment but I had some questions before doing so but when I called the rep. connected me with my account rep. ********************** I tried to explain my story to see what options I had but I was only able to share part of my *********** cut me off saying that BG doesnt offer a forebarence plan. I simply replied that, that doesnt seem fair & I went to say more. Not be be argumentative but I was just sharing my thoughts but then she was rude and cut me off. I said excuse me I wasnt done talking & then she started shouting & then I raised my voice because I was in disbelief that she was talking over me & cutting me off being very rude & unprofessional. I told her to Plz stop as I was just trying to share my experience & she yelled & then hung up on me. I called back twice & immediately requested a manager who assisted me but then told me that they dont offer any ************* later found out that thats not true. Im also being charged 5-6 additional fees (taxes, other, penalties, collection fees, vacation *********** dues) in addition to my past due maintenance fees. I wanted to discuss all of that with the supervisor but after the previous conversation with ************ I was completely overwhelmed & just wanted to close my account so that I didnt have to deal with anyone there anymore. ************ was very unprofessional & I want to make sure that the supervisor ***************************** escalates the conversation between ***************** No one should be treated like that by any debt collector. I was actually calling to settle the matter peacefully. I would like further review, explanation of all the charges and a fair discount

They jump on any little reason to not accept payment and streech things out to get more fees. I had no contact with the original debter about being late either. I requested twice to know who it was they mailed it after the 2nd time. It took two weeks. I mailed them my payment after having the debt confired but they sent me another letter saying there were additional fees. These fees has not be mentioned in either of the previous letters I had received.

Mr. Stovall's account is for maintenance fees/dues for his timeshare ownership. The dues are billed monthly, so an additional amount is due each month. We were unable to accept his initial check because it was dated 2020 and our bank will not accept a stale dated check. We apologize for any frustration this caused.

Pinnacle is a horrible collector to work with. My experience is, I was told prior to making my payment arrangement to pay off the debt I'd be able to reduce the fees once I was within an attainable amount to pay off the loan. "oh no problem, just ask and we will be able to take a couple of hundred dollars off for you. The original bill was approx $500 and the collection amount for approx $1200.00 Once I called to pay off the balance, *****. (who was insanely rude) told me they would take off $45 from my just over $700.00 balance. ***** threatened to hang up on me for asking if there were any other reductions available. She also refused to give me a supervisor. I was not allowed to speak with another representative, my only options were to speak with her or get a callback. Even though I was willing to pay off the balance during the call we were on. She indicated that it was mandatory that I spoke with her ONLY. I'd advise anyone to avoid working with this collection agency at all costs. Especially working with *****. Other people that I spoke with there seemed nice and helpful. She was not either. Pay them and move on. Their fees are excessive and they are definitely in it to make lives miserable. I am hoping to get my proof of a receipt if not I have it on a screenshot from the processing.

Pinnacle does not give receipts or proof of payment. I have been waiting weeks for my receipt. The person that helped was ********************* and Ive been calling Pinnacle but all of a sudden no one answers. Super unprofessional with how they handle their transactions. Most times we would receive a receipt or proof of payment.

We apologize to ******************. He did make multiple requests and our staff processed incorrectly. Upon receiving notification of this review, we investigated and have corrected the error. He should now have received the receipt.

Pinnacle has destroyed my credit report by using evasive tactics (veiled client name). They seem to want to draw out the cases they have for a profit instead of really trying to resolve financial disputes, especially during the pandemic.
