      Understandably, with satellite internet there are periodic service interruptions due to weather. But Viasat has continuous service distributions that they attribute to weather even on ******* clear says. The cost is astronomical, the speed doesnt come close to advertised (or at least not with any consistency), streaming results in low-quality video, web conferences either drop all together or have such delay that it makes communicating incredibly frustrating, and to cap it all off, the data limits are a joke! I paid roughly $80/month for 800mbps speed (which performed at more than 900mbps) and no data limits through Xfinity before moving to an area where satellite is basically the only option. Now I pay in excess of $300/month for up to 100mbps (which never happens, and 150GB of data that I always exceed before the end of a billing cycle. They lock you into a 2-year contract with steep cancellation penalties, but they dont hold up their end of the contractmeaning reliable, consistent, high-speed internet. If you have other options, youre better off going with those. If you dont have better home internet options, go to a library, ********** bar, anywhere. Just dont give Viasat your business.

      This is the worst internet company and service provider that has been. I have had trouble with my internet since day one. After multiple attempts to have my service corrected, they simply refused to come put and fix the problem stati g that I "unplugged my modem ", which I had not done leaving me within service for a week. I have had th less than thirty day and they want to charge me for a service that doesn't work and a disconnect fee of over $300. Don't use this company. It is a rip off and a scam.

      Do not and I repeat, do not use Viasat internet. They make promises they do t keep. They overbill you and will not return your money. They will not shut your service off when you have requested the service to be off. They want to charge for a service call to fix somethings that wrong with their junky internet service. No one speaks good English so good luck on your customer service journey!

      Good morning! Im pickled this morning after seeing a bill from Viasat charged to my credit card.Hers the background They arrived happily to install and place items on the room and inside my house. For over 3 years their service was iffy. I increased the monthly to get better service..it didnt work. Service choices were limited in my area. Unbelievable I know, with all the technology today. I planned to during the summer. I let them know. They sent me the return package. They told me that I the senior citizen has to climb onto the roof to retrieve the small item attached there. I mentioned my age and said I couldnt do that. You guys put it up why cant you send someone to take it off? Fast forward to this morning. Up pops a bill for 164$ Im told that the price plus TAX! ***, I explained my situation, and asked why didnt you guys come and retrieve the item When I asked? I see they said. You can get a refund maam, they said. How sir? ******** the item and send it back! *********** loved there for months, Im a senior citizen, I no longer live there. Etc, etc. is there anything else I can help you with? ???No sir, you have a great day! Hang on for the survey. Dead line. No survey. Here is my survey:Viasat is horrible *********** is spotty They have no compassion I do not recommend this service.

      I have been with this company for a while now Im no longer under contract with them I called them to request a cancellation and a refund but was told I couldnt get a refund!

      After having service for two plus years we were ready to move on (we signed a contract and fulfilled that contract). We were told we have to return the modem, cables and transceiver. I explained that we are seniors and cant get on the roof to remove the transceiver. Was told to wait for the box to return equipment and then call back if we need a technician. We did as told and THEN were advised it would cost us $99. AFTER PAYING ALMOST $4,500 FOR SPOTTY, SLOW SERVICE. Ok. Well hire someone. And we will let everyone in our area know how Viasat operates. Done.

      They will REAP WHAT THEY SOW.. which is... they sow trash, deceit, manipulation, greed and hate. I feel so sorry for the people working here and sort of wonder if the workers need ACTUAL HELP.. are these people being FORCED TO WORK?? Someone needs to look into this business THOROUGHLY! Fraudulent Company with Policies in place to get them as much money as they can from their tricked customers before the customers FIGURE OUT what's really going on! Saddest thing WE'VE EVER BEEN A PART OF!!! This is our world now, NO PROTECTION FOR THE CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!! BBB ARE YOU GOING TO HELP SHUT THEM DOWN YET?????? God I pray for these people working there and for protection for all future Viasat customers!

      I am very dissatisfied with the business method that Viasat has shown after 10 years, and being a Loyalty customer. Almost 4 years after internet being disconnected, I am told by several collection companies that I have an unpaid bill. Not only have they impacted my credit, but it would have been nice if I could have received and seen this bill BEFORE it was sold to a collection company. Never had the opportunity to see or pay any bill concerning equipment not returned until now. I am told I must leave a star rating. I will, but please put a (-) sign before the one star. I would never do business with Viasat again.

      Would give zero stars if I could. Unfortunately the only service in my area. Terrible service. Extremely over priced...spectrum gives you unlimited high speed data for 59$ a month. This company is a joke. 99$ a month for 40G is laughable, lasts about 5-6 days when you have children who are homeschooled and trying to do school online yourself...you'd think theyd lower pices with Covid and people doing more from home, no instead they financially **** their customers to line their pockets. Cant wait until the starlink waiting list is over, I cant switch fast enough...again 99$ a month unlimited fast data, no caps...if other companies can do it so can you Viasat. Do better.

      Too bad I didn't come here first. I was told by the sales woman that I had a 30 day trial period and that there was NO contract, just month to month. I went ahead and signed up. Service wasn't great, so I called for help, and finally just told them to cancel my trial. HA. They said I'd signed a contract! I never saw a contract. I asked for it, and they did send it to me - clearly not signed by me, and didn't even spell my name right. I did tell a customer service rep this information and it was supposedly documented on my account. The *** line I gave up to switch got snapped up by someone else and I was literally TRAPPED - no other viable internet solution around. That was a couple of years ago. Now I have an alternative option, so cancelled Viasat - a few days into the billing cycle. Now they say NO REFUND, because they "bill ahead". I said I know you bill ahead, but that doesn't mean you can't give me a refund. I've talked until I'm blue in the face. I finally left a communication on the ********, ** "contact **" link. Doubt it will result in a refund, but will update if it does. Crappy internet, ridiculous pricing, and a lying saleswoman. Keep your distance.
